          Your day started like any other day you lived, wake up in a horrible apartment, pop-tarts, part time job with Taco Bell as lunch. Then... Something felt off, like someone was watching you. You finished your shift and left, going straight for your apartment. The feeling eased as you took the path you have been taking for about the past month.

          After a few minutes, you arrived to the rundown building your apartment resided in. It took you no time at all to get into your apartment, especially since it was on the first floor. With a jangle of keys you get in and lock the door behind you. After a few seconds to breathe and clear your mind, you start to plan your 'what now?' plan. "Come on, Y/n. Barely a month and something is already after you..." You sighed, you still have a month and a half on this apartment paid.

          You quickly made a plan, leave long enough so that who ever it was would think she moved or permanently left. You grabbed your white backpack and stuffed your clothes in it, you only have two outfits and a simple dress anyway. You grabbed your hidden wallet that held all the money you earn ever. It was worn from years of use, but once you bought it, you just could not get a new one. It had pretty patterns and your favorite colors, you don't need a new one you had decided a long while ago.

         After the basics and snacks being thrown into your backpack, you grabbed your messenger bag and put your wallet in it, as well as water and your umbrella. You had everything important packed into your two bags and the clothes on your back. You sighed, looking once around the small apartment you actually grew to like.

          So you did not get sentimental and stay longer than warranted, you quickly unlocked the door, stepped out, and locked the door behind you. You left the building through a door in the stairwell and walked out into the street. The sun had begun to set and the street lights lazily turned on as you passed them, going to the closest bus stop.

          You sat at the bench watching the roads for the next bus that could take you far from here, or to a temporary place for the night. You stayed for around half an hour before the strange feeling returned. You looked around, not seeing a thing, and that made you anxious. You got up and started walking towards the city's limits.

         Slowly, a mixed feeling of urgency and fear filled you making you go faster. Eventually you made it to the plains and woods outside of the town, after a mile it would lead to some neighborhoods, but you were aiming to hide in the woods. You broke into the line of trees, stepping on dead leaves and attempting to avoid fallen twigs.

          You began to feel something burning inside of you, in your heart and stomach. You could also, somehow, taste smoke. You kept moving until the burning increased to unbearable levels, tripping and falling in a small grassy area. Slowly everything seemed to get dark and you could not tell whether it was whatever was causing the burning or the night slowly coming.

          Something in the shape of a cat came up and gave you a once over before darting off. This was it for you, wasn't it? The cat obviously did not want to help you, and you were seemingly in the middle of nowhere, you wouldn't get help.

          As you fought the exhaustion the pain brought, you saw something in the corner of your eye. It grew closer and seemed shrouded in...dark? The air grew cold as he approached, which did not help the inferno that raged inside. It seemed to crouch down, and you could make out a face... One that seemed grey, but that could have been cause your sight wasn't perfect and the night's darkness. You could tell it was a man, and the man looked into the distance away from you when there was a sound of barking.

          You couldn't tell what happened afterwards, since everything had begun to finally go completely black and you fell unconscious.

Hi~ I am soooo sorry! I am just a big procrastinator at things I don't have to do... I swear I will try to be better! I will attempt to make a schedule that takes in account all of my irl stuff and mood swings. -3-

Anyways~ ITS THE PROLOGUE! The first chapter is something I have had typed out, but I am going to put it under MAJOR editing and proofing. I will hope to have that chapter out next week at the latest~ (I am going to switch between working on this and the Max one.)

~~~~~~
Scheduling: I don't know how I will do it, but no matter what I do, It will change between Max/Ross & this one~. So one update a week? Each book will have one update every two weeks. I hope I can do one update per book per week, but we will wait and see now won't we?
Sorry this took so long~
