Not knowing if the half robot destroyer, Leberecht Maas, had her silicon chip on the left or right, Kaga went with her instinct to ram one side of the ship. If she destroys the robotic side, the normal ship side of Maas can be salvaged and rescued. However, if she destroys the soulful side, the robotic side will continue on until it sinks. Kaga decided to ram the starboard side of Leberecht Maas. "Here goes." She thought. Kaga sported a faint golden glow and the two collided with Kaga sidescraping the starboard side of the destroyer.
The sound of collision and scraping was loud and high pitched and Kitakami silently observed the action. Kaga's side was rubbing and destroying the side of Leberecht Maas that she chose to attack but she did not hear sounds of pain from the destroyer. Did she hit the right side? The carrier broke away and took a look back at her target. She was horrified to find out that she killed the regular destroyer side of the hybrid ship. What remained was the robotic side and it remained afloat. As a result, the drone was still controlling the V2 missile that was still in the air. She hastily fired her secondaries and pelted the destroyer until it sank. She managed to destroy the destroyer labelled Z1 and salvaged the Silicon Chip of Knowledge from the sinking wreckage. The V2 in the upper atmosphere detonated and the risk of destruction is no more.
"It's okay I-168, you can come up now. The evil destroyer robot is dead now." Then the submarine rose from the depths and barked happily. "C'mon, it's time to return to base."
Kaga's planes returned followed by the mercenaries who raided the heavy water plant. From the other end of the fjord, New Jersey, Prinz Eugen and Kirov arrived to investigate the situation.
"Sorry we couldn't arrive in time. Scharnhorst was torpedoed by Leberecht Maas and the destroyer snuck into the fjord." New Jersey apologized.
"Is Scharnhorst okay?" Kaga asked.
"Yep. She's taking repairs right now at the liberated city of Bergen. Also, I heard Kitakami has taken heavy damage. Is she okay?"
"Well, the Demon Lord herself is still floating here. I think one of you have to tow her back."
"Alright then. I heard Campbeltown died a hero's death. Black, can you explain what happened?" Prinz Eugen asked.
"She just went in and destroyed everything for us. She gave her life when all hope was lost but her sacrifice was the key to our success. I'm going to miss that little rascal." Black answered.
"Alright, now I turn my attention to Kaga. Can you tell me what happened in your duel with Leberecht Maas?"
"Well, I engaged her in a close ranged duel and rammed her in a head on attack. I wanted to take out one side of her to ensure the survival of her possibly good natured side but I destroyed it and was left with a soulless drone. I had no other choice but to sink it and now I'm upset I killed her completely."
"Well, we said we wanted Maas to be captured unless it can't be done. Anyways, we are okay with what you had done even if it does not meet our expected outcome. I thank you for ending the main threat to the Robot Revolution."
Prinz Eugen then told the team to move out and dock at the newly liberated Bergen. She also asked Kaga to tow Kitakami for repairs. When they arrived to the city, Kaga was surprised to see Enterprise and Tirpitz already there. "Ah, Kaga, how was your duel with the boss destroyer? Did you manage to acquire the Silicon Chip?" Enterprise asked. "Yep, I got it right here. As my contract stated, I am allowed to keep it. Looks like we can continue our adventures now."
"Adventures you say? Oh how I miss those days." A voice from behind said. They turned around to see a battleship behind them. Tirpitz and Prinz Eugen were surprised to see her. "Großadmiral Bismarck? You're alive? What happened to you?" Prinz Eugen was shocked.
