The Little Blue Box
Kiara and Amber have been best friends forever. They were the perfect pair. Kiara had blond hair with bright blue eyes, while Amber had dark brown hair with brown eyes. Their personalities clashed as much as their appearances, but it made them even better friends.
On October 31, the girls were trick-or-treating whilst wearing their amazing costumes. Just like any other child would be doing on a haunted night in their small town. The night was going as every other Halloween had in the years before. Their bags were filling with candy, and their smiles were never falling.
But later on in the night, they reached an odd house. Different from the others with its dark mysterious aroma, and worn-down shutters, it made the girls hesitate before knocking on the door.
But they decided they were being dramatic, and after knocking on the heavy door, a smiling old lady appeared behind the wooden door.
The lady handed the girls a little blue box, a surprised look on her wrinkled face.
"This box is very special, it holds a spirit which has a very dark past that you girls must fix before time runs out, or else you too will be stick just like her."
With that, the lady slammed the door shut, leaving the girls shocked and confused.
