( your POV )
Your head was spinning after you saw the messages, You feel like throwing up and crying. The memories come flooding back all too quickly and overcrowd your head, meeting him, him asking you out, him throwing you around and leaving bruises on your body. You hated every moment of it.. "Y/N?" You hear a soft voice say, you instantly come back to reality to see Brodey above you, looking down and seeming to be worried about you. "Hey Brodey.. how long was I out?" You try to play it off for him not to suspect anything, you didn't want him to know about your past. "Couple hours, I'm guessing you didn't sleep last night?" He said with a smile, offering his hand for you to grab and be hoisted up, you slowly place your hand in his and feel yourself get lifted up slowly, but into a strong bear hug. "Y/N I need to tell you something.." I heard him quietly say while holding you tighter. "Yeah Brodey..?" You say back with a feeling of excitement. "I.." "Bazz! Y/N! We have a problem upstairs!" we heard Elliot shout from outside, you look concerned and he did as well, letting you both go upstairs to investigate.. you glance over to see Bazz kind of upset by not finishing his sentence.
When you both get up the stairs you see Nathan and Marcus at the door, refusing to let somebody in, "Let me in god damn it I want to see her!" You heard a familiar voice say, at that moment all of the memories come flooding back, the horrible ones..
* Time skip to the past, where you are dating Daniel and the first time he got physical with you. *
You look to your lover, as happy as can be as he holds you in his arms. "I love you Daniel." You quietly say to him, "I love you too Y/N." You hear him say. You loved your life, you had a good job, good family, and an amazing boyfriend.. or so you thought. The night was growing old as you were about to go to sleep, hearing Daniels voice raise to a loud yelling point. "Y/N who the hell is Nathan? Are you fucking cheating on me?" He asked with anger in his voice, growing closer to you as he held your phone with the messages from Cray. "Nathan's just a friend I met on Fortnite Daniel! Fuck off!" You day back, you see his hands form into fists as he drops the phone and swings towards you with full force, hitting you in your face with his powerful punch. You scream out in pain and fall on the floor, looking up to him with tears in your eyes. "Daniel what the fuck! I'm calling the cops!" You hold your face and feel a warm liquid trickling down from the cut that had opened from the punch, you feel your tears fall down to meet at the bottom of your chin. "If you do I'll fucking kill you bitch." He says while he spits on you, walking away to clean his fist from the small wounds that he had. You start to sob, grabbing at your phone to call Nathan, instead another voice picks it up. "This is Brodey, Cray can't talk right now." You sob even more as he notices, taking quick concern to it. "Hey.. it's okay, what's your name?" "Y..Y/N.." You say quietly, "It's nice to meet you, what's wrong?" You hear him say, you explain half of the story to him, leaving out the part of the punching. You hang up quickly when he returns to apologize.. and you accept it.
* back to the present *
( Brodey's POV )
I went up the stairs first, seeing Cray and Marcus block the door from someone coming in, he has black longish hair and muscles almost as big as Marcus's. "She doesn't want to see you asshole!" I hear Cray say as I turn around to see Y/N freeze in her steps. I knew it was him. I took her hand and held her close to me, that seeming to bring her back to the real world. "Are you okay?" I say to her, worried about her. "I'm okay Brodey.." she says with such sadness, holding onto my body like no tomorrow. "God damnit let me in! Let me see her! Y/N? Are you in there?" I hear him say, holding her tighter. "Let him in guys." She says with a soft voice, I see them back away from the door to let him in. He looked at me with her in my arms, giving me a death glare. "Move I'm already?" He says with a playful tone, he made me angry as I feel my fists ball up behind her. She detached away from me and walks up to him, I could see she was nervous because her hands were shaking very faintly. "What Daniel.." He looks down at her, he's about 6'2, Marcus level build, he was good looking but there was something off about him. "I'm here to get you back, I'm sorry about all of the past Y/N I really miss you." He says with a touch to her shoulder, he shoves his hand away and backs away a little. "It's over Daniel, it has been over! I'm so sick of your bullshit that has been going on for the past 4 years! All of the bruises and cuts you've left on me.. the way you made me feel and the things I did to myself because of you.." my eyes tear up as I watch her go down the list of things that he's made her do, all of the pain he's caused. It makes me so angry to the point where I can't control myself. I launch towards him and swing him in the face, a good, hard, forceful punch.. just like what he did with Y/N.
( your POV )
"Oh my god Brodey stop!" You scream at him as you see him punch Daniel, knocking him over. You see him stand up and launch back at Brodey, pinning him up against the wall and punching back. You try to get in the middle but only to be punched by Daniel in the side, on one of your old bruises from him. He keeps going as he punches that spot and all around it until you feel him get pulled away by Marcus and Nathan. Marcus shoves him against the floor and stars to beat the shit out of him, along with Nathan helping by holding him down. "Fuck Brodey are you okay?" You say with a concerned look on your face, looking up at his bruised face. "I'm fine, are you okay?" He says, putting a hand on the spot you've been hit, you flinch but you manage to nod, holding onto him as you look back to Daniel with a bloody nose and a black eye.
After Marcus was done with him Elliot kicked him out and took you away for Kath and Liv to help with the marks, before you leave you see Brodey smiling at you, those same sparkles in his eyes as you remember. You think you see him mouth something to you.
"I love you."
