I smiled at my outfit of the day. I was wearing a pleaded yellow skirt with a white cami-crop. I added some checkered vans with my outfit. I left my curls out and about. I added natural makeup which included lipgloss, eyeliner, mascara, and eyebrows. I grabbed my backpack and left my room.

"I'm meeting my friends at Mel's!" I shouted to Lee. He was probably upstairs.

"Be safe!" He yelled back. I smiled and left my house. I grabbed my bike and rode over to the small blue diner called Mel's. I set my bike down and walked inside, listening to the small bell ding. I smiled when i saw Marlon, Vi, And Ruby at the table. I wondered where the rest were. I threw my bag down and sat next to Vi.

"Okay!" Vi shouted. I slapped her shoulder with a laugh when i saw the whole diner was staring at us. She giggled as the rest of the group sighed at her, soon following the laughter.

"Anyone got some tea before i start spilling mine?" Vi asked. Ruby quickly nodded as her face turned red. Everyone looked at her with a smile, including me.

"You wont believe who asked Marlon out!" Ruby whisper-shouted.

"Who? Was it Diana?" I asked. I crossed my legs and listened as Ruby as trying to talk through laughs

"Brody!" Marlon finished her sentence. The group bursted into laughter seeing as though Marlon tried getting with this girl for years and whenever he finally stopped trying she liked him.

"What did you say?" Violet asked Marlon. He blushed as he nodded his head, saying he wasn't saying.

"Tell us!" I playfully kicked his leg as he finally gave up.

"I said yes..." Marlon smiled. I smiled being happy for him. Brody was a good person but was also very shy. I understood why she never asked him sooner. She probably didn't know since only we did. Marlon put his head down as Vi and I started singing.

"Marlon and Brody sitting in the tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Ruby soon joined as we all started singing along. The waiter came up to the table with his notepad and i literally choked on my words. The singing stopped as i just stared directly at him.

"Clem? are you alright?" Ruby asked me. Vi started patting my back until i finally stopped choking.

"I-i'm fine!" I told the group. They looked at the waiter who was staring back at me. He coughed as he started looking at the rest of the group, waiting for orders.

"I'll have a medium strawberry milkshake," Vi told the dark skinned boy with freckles. He nodded and started writing it down. I examined his eyes that looked beautiful in the light. I needed to thank the sun before the end of the day. His dreads sung over his right eye as he wrote in the notepad. His smile was actually perfection.

"Clementine?" The group was shouting as he was waiting for my order. I coughed in embarrassment as i quickly put my hair behind my ear.

"Uh, Can i have a small chocolate shake?" Vi kicked my leg when i said "chocolate" i knew exactly what she meant. My ears were suddenly hot by her statement. He smiled at me before leaving with our orders.

"Clem is totally crushing on him!" Violet smiled at me.

"Oh my god! Shut up before he hears you!" I quickly covered her mouth. She licked my hand away. I wiped my hands on her with a disgusted look on my face.

"Get you some of that, Clem" Ruby laughed at me. I slouched down and sighed in embarrassment. These guys are gonna kill me.

"Okay, why would they actually be cute?" Marlon comments before joining the loud laughter. I put a hand on my face, covering my blush.

"Okay, were done!" Vi smiled at me. I narrowed my eyes at the group before sitting up. Was my staring that noticeable? I was so embarrassed. I've never done that before!

"Looks like the cute chocolate shake if coming" Vi whispered in my ear. I slapped her arm and tried looking away. He soon arrived with a tray of shakes with napkins around them. He handed Vi the strawberry and both vanillas to Marlon and Ruby. He handed mine last. He left with a wink that made my heart skip a beat. I removed my napkin from my shake and put my straw in. I took a few sips before noticing my napkin had a number on it.
