🎹 Louis's pov🎹

I watched as she walked past me in the hallway. She walked over to her "new friends" and started talking to them. She's changed so much since the night i saw her last.

I grabbed my backpack and walked into the music room. I set my things down and put my hands onto the keys of the piano. I started playing the song i wrote whenever Clementine disappeared. I didn't want to be at school anymore so with that thought, i left the building and went home.

I unlocked my house door and set my stuff down. I went upstairs and slammed my door shut, locking it. Tears slipped down my face as i remembered the night.

Flashback

I tried chasing Clementine but, it was so dark outside. What happened to her back there? I went back inside and tried finding the guy she was hanging around. I spotted him in the corner of my eye with another girl. I pushed through the crowd and eventually got to him, pushing him.

"What the fuck did you do to her?" I yelled at him. He looked at the girl beside him and chuckled. He was acting like this was a game.

"Did what?" He asked with a smirk. He knew exactly what he did. I punched him right in the jaw. He fell over backwards as i just left. I didn't have time for stupidity. What did he do? Did he touch her in anyway? The thought made me uncomfortable and angry. I couldn't stand the fact of someone touching her in a bad way.

I grabbed my phone and tried calling her but, she didn't answer.

I put my phone in my pocket and decided to give her space. Why was she acting this way? I went home and took off my clothes and just put on my sweatpants. I laid in my bed and started thinking of the night.

I woke up to my window opening. I quickly got up and seen Clementine crawling in my room. She was wearing red sweatpants and a white shirt. She had makeup running down her face. you could tell she was crying just before. I quickly wrapped her in a tight hug and nuzzled my head into her neck. I started tearing up at the fact that she's hurting and i don't even know why.

I pulled back and looked into her golden eyes. She stared back into mine and started leaning in. Our lips touched for a second as we kissed. It was magical. I felt like my heart was gonna burst out of me. She pulled back from the kiss with a smile, that quickly faded.

"I didn't mean for this to happen, lou," She began to explain to me. I was about to say something before she shushed me.

"Let me finish," She ran her hands through her head. "I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I didn't want to like you and i definitely don't want to leave you. I'm gonna hurt you, lou!" She told me. My heart started stinging from her words. Leave me?

"Wh-what are you even saying, Clementine?" I asked her with seriousness in my voice.

"We can't be friends. I'm not risking anything else for you. I love you, lou." She hugged me. I pushed her off and rolled my eyes at her. What the actual fuck was she talking about?

"you're drunk. You don't mean what you're saying!" I tried convincing her. I think i was trying to convince myself more than her.

"Stop, i realize things tonight. Heck, maybe we could be friends again? Just not now, alright?" She explained, tears rolling down her eyes. I knew she didn't mean any of this.

"you don't mean it," Tears were falling down both of our faces now.

"No, i do," She left out my room. I angrily punched the mirror to my right. I didn't care about the blood falling from my hands. What the fuck.

we haven't talked since. She was everything to me and now she's gone. My hearts hurt since. I wasn't ready to go back to school at all.
