Elizabeth and Tad teleported to where Will's energy signature was traced. They found themselves in the Nightmare Realm, where Bill had ruled before his death. Will was sitting up on Bill's previous throne, but he was only recognized by his magical aura. Otherwise, you couldn't tell it was him.
He wore an all-black cloak that hid his face from view and surrounded his body so that all you could see was the lower half of his face and a tiny bit of neck; the rest of it covered it what seemed to be a turtleneck shirt. His what would've been gaze fell upon the two, and they immediately caught the gist of what was going on. William B. Cipher had lost his brother, they only thing that kept him sane. Will had snapped.
"Welcome home, Tad and Elizabeth," he spoke in a calm yet sharp voice.

Welcome to the third and final book in the series of Beginnings; Endings! As mentioned in the summary, this story does take place a decade or so after the events of the last book.

This one will be a longer one! I don't know exactly the range I'm going for, so just bear with me here. Reminder that this story takes place A DECADE after Bill's death, so the Pines Twins (Dipper and Mabel) are grown up to about 23 years old??
Another FYI!
Dipper and Mabel live in the Mystery Shack, Mabel taking Soos' place as Mr. Mystery because he went to spend time with his family, and Dipper is continuing Ford's research. Ford and Stan have gone off on their adventures and will not be returning for this book.
