Bill didn't see a lot, only complete and under darkness. It was suffocating, how he couldn't move, see, or breathe. Was he dead? In suspension? He didn't quite know. He could feel pain though, which he didn't expect.

There was pain in his chest, of course. A large throbbing pain that he didn't understand where it came from. There was tingling in his fingertips, sort of like a burning tingling. It was unfamiliar to him.

He could hear things too. Wasn't he supposed to be dead? He died, right?

Well, whatever the case, there was muffled yelling. It sounded familiar, the voice. Well, voices. There were two. Somehow, the voices were getting louder and clearer.

Suddenly, light streamed through four holes, blinding Bill. Bill shut his eyes, unable to cringe and shy away from the jets of light. At least he had his eyesight back. Now he could assume that he was definitely alive. He felt a whoosh of cold air cover his body, giving him shivers. The tingles in his fingers spread throughout his body and alarmed him, but he didn't care. He opened his eyes to see blurred shapes above him. He let out a small groan of annoyance.

Dipper looked down at the tired blonde. "He's definitely out of it," he commented.

Mabel nodded. "Should I call anyone?" she asked.

Dipper shook his head. "Not yet, lets get him back first. Help me carry him, will you?" he said, grabbing Bill's legs. Mabel got his waist and the two hoisted the blonde up very painstakingly.

Dipper hooked Bill up to the medical machines and watched as he drifted in and out of consciousness. He frowned, remembering how it had once been Will in the same position once, about a decade ago. He had to be ready for when Bill woke up.

Speaking of which, how was he even alive? Bill had definitely died back during the fight; Dipper had been the one to proclaim him dead. Now, somehow, Bill got to come back alive and blinking.

A groan came from the other side of the room, signaling that Bill was now awake. "What the... where...?" the blonde said to himself.

Dipper smiled and let out a small laugh, getting the blonde's attention. "You finally woke up. How you feeling?"

Bill blinked before speaking. "Oh, um, alive I guess. Who are you?" he asked.

Dipper's smile became a bit nervous. "Very funny Bill. It's me, Dipper," he said with another laugh.

Bill's eyes narrowed. "Sorry, I don't know a Dipper or someone named Bill. Am I supposed to?" he asked.

Dipper stared at him with an open mouth before collapsing back into his rolling chair. "Damn, death left a number on you. Well, lets get the basics down. My name is Dipper Pines. You're currently in the basement of the Mystery Shack, a tourist trap in Gravity a Falls, Oregon. Got that so far?" he explained. Bill nodded, encouraging Dipper to go on. "Your name is Bill Cipher. Recently, you and your brother got into a fight and you died," Dipper added.

Bill frowned. "But if I died, why am I alive now? And where is this brother of mine?"

Dipper sighed. "He's gone missing. And as for how you're alive, I honestly don't know myself. We're going to get your memory back before we work out how to contact your brother," he said.

"One more question," Bill said, still confused. "How long have I been dead?"

Dipper took a deep breath. "About ten years, give or take. You want something to eat?"

Bill nodded eagerly. "Yeah, I'm starving! Being dead does that to you I guess," he said with a chuckle.

Dipper laughed as well and motioned to the door for Bill to follow him. Bill leaped off the surgical table and speed walked after the brunette. He took in every detail of the shack around him, analyzing it and storing it in his memory as a computer would. He knew this place was familiar, yet he couldn't match it to a memory. Part of the amnesia, probably.

They emerged from the basement into an old kitchen. I'm the middle, sitting at the foldout-table, was a brunette girl who looked similar to Dipper. The girl looked up at Bill and immediately brightened with a smile that made Bill want to shut his eyes and cringe. "Well look who's awake? Sleep well, Bill?" she said enthusiastically.

Bill hesitated and looked away while Dipper spoke up. "Mabel, with me," he said, leading her out of the room. While the two talked, Bill took his time to look around the place. He felt comfortable, so he could assume that in his life he had grown close to this place.

Mabel walked back in with a cheery smile, Dipper following her and sitting down at the table. "What do you want to eat? We've got discount waffles," Mabel offered, opening the fridge.

Bill slid into a fold out chair. "Yes please," he said.

As he looked out the window, he swore he could see something flash in the trees. Oh well, he was probably imagining it.
