Home sweet home

(Y/n POV)
2 days has passed and it was time to say good bye to the big Apple and hello to home again. I will miss New York and Kathy but I'm glad I'm going home.

Kathy dropped me off at the airport. On the way she would not stop talking about tom "I want to meet him some day you know, ah we are here my dear" Kathy said as we pulled up to the airport. I started to feel a lump in my throat. 'Ah I'm gonna miss her so much' I said in my head

She walked me to the big hall part of the airport just as you walk in. "Be good okay don't do what I would do okay" Kathy said laughing while a tear dripped down her cheek.

"Hey don't cry if you cry I will start crying and then it w-won't b-be f-f-fuuuuuun" I said gradually cry more and more.

She gave me a big hug and I had to leave. I would miss her so much but I had her number so I could talk to her any time.

As I got passed all the passport check bit and that I was sitting at the duty free part of the airport just before you board the plan. I was sitting out side of star bucks with a cup of tea in my hand trying to calm my self down from the excitement and a bit of sadness.

A group of screaming girls and boys ran through the big hall surrounding someone. A gap opened up for a couple of seconds and I saw who it was, it was Tom the boy that bought me tea a couple of days ago. He waved at me and carried on walking.

'Well dam still as good looking as I remember' i said in my head taking a sip of my tea.

—-on the plain—-

I got 2 text notifications on my phone just as I sat in my seat, one from my mum and the other from Kathy. They said
Mum:
Hi hunny text me when your off the plain.... have a safe flight love you xx

Thanks mum see you when I land love you so much can't wait to see you xx

Can't wait to see you too xx

Kathy:
Hey hun, house already to quiet, have a safe flight, miss you hun x

Miss you to I will text you when I land x

I pout my phone in my bag and pout my seatbelt on getting ready for takeoff. I started to think about home and how much I've missed it and if my room is still the same or did Louise  take it over like she said she would when she found out I was leaving

The flight is a night flight so ended up falling asleep listening to music

I woke up just as the plane was landing 'ugh I'm so tired' I said in my head. I unbuckled my seatbelt and got my carry on bag and got off that plain, then got my suitcase and went to find my mum

I saw my mum and my dad as I came out the airport, i ran up to them and gave my mum a hug then gave my dad a hug, ive missed them so much.

"We've missed you so much, let's get in the car so we can get home and we can talk about how you got on on the way" my mum said as my dad grabbed my bag and pout it in the boot of the car.

I looked at my phone and saw it was 5 in the morning 'I'm definitely getting more sleep when I get home' I said to my self in my head

"So how was New York"my mum asked me from the drivers seat, she and my dad were in the front and I was in the back chilling out

"It was good the show I'm in is amazing the songs are so good and I got to be in it at a popular venue so it was amazing" I said hipper, when I'm tired I get hipper, sad or grumpy just naw I'm hipper

"Glad to hear it" my dad said

"Hows Kathy" my mum asked. She hasn't seen Kathy since she moved to America, they were really close before

"She's good, she said we should stay in contact" I replied

"Cool glad to hear it" my mum said

Before I knew it we arrived home. I went straight to my bed and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was sound asleep. Home sweet home I thought as I fell asleep
