Chapter 11: Home

Lucy POV

Blinking my eyes in shocked at the scene in front of me. Angel has been defeated by Zana's spirits!

And they are beautiful yet strong at the same time!

Zana walked towards me with a smile but suddenly she stopped walking and winched, grab her chest in pain. "Zana-san!" I gasped, grabbing her spirits attention.

The fox become alert as she rushed to her side in concern. Her hand grab Zana's arm to steady her to make sure she doesnt fall. "Master... are you alright?" Her fox ear fall slightly as if she is sad.

Glancing at the other spirit, the blonde hair that wear red dress narrowed her eyes in confuse yet slight anger..? She walked towards the duo as I follow behind her to see what happened to Zana-san.

"My Praetor, why did you do it?" She spoke sternly.

The fox, which I assume her name is Tamamo? Quickly glare at her, "How dare you spoke harshly to my beloved master! Nero! Cant you see she is weak!"

"Silent, Tamamo!"

The fox lady growl but didnt say anything. I was clueless before I ask one of them, "What's wrong with Zana-san..? Is she alright...?"

Nero sighed, looking at Zana in somewhat anxious for some reason and the red hair taking a deep breath as she stand up straight, Tamamo still beside her for her aid in case.

Their master began to speak, "It's nothing. I think I used too much magic or something... maybe I am just tired.." She smile weakly at us.

I heard Nero mumble, "… because you’re magic drains to its limit…master."

There is sorrow and pain in her tone. Wait.. if Zana's magic drain little by little.. wouldnt that mean her life is at risk?! Quickly I look at her as my eyes widen in realization. "Z-Zana-san..." I breath out.

She nodded her head. "I know..."

"B-But... how?.. why didnt you tell us...?"

Tamamo looked away, " Master dont want you to worry about her..."

Nero nodded, "Umu, even we, as her servants, couldnt do anything to save my Praetor.."

Zana holds Nero's hand catching her attention to her, " Nero.. How many times I had told you." Smile gently, ".. you and the others are not my servants. You are my friends. Remember that."

"M-Master.."

Tamamo turns to face me, "If you'll excuse us, we will take our master somewhere for her to rest a bit while you people in battle." Although while she saying that, she glare at me..? Did I do something to offence her? A familiar aura surrounds her as she glaring at me before vanished with Zana at some place.

Blinking my eyes of what to do when I remember something. 'Of course! No wonder why she glares at me with that kind of expression... she dislike me near Zana-san. That fox lady remind me of Juvia...' I facepalm, sweat dropped that I have created an enemy. Sigh...

Third POV

Timeskip

After the battle has won Natsu defeat the last member of Oracion Seis known as Zero. The Lacrima has been stopped and manage to protect Cait Shelter before the Lacrima active. The Magic Council appeared in front of them but Jellal stepped in front all of them protectively. “What do you want?”

“Jellal, you have been charged with a count of many crime. You’re coming with us.” Said the general.

Erza run next beside to him. “No! You’re not taking him!”

Jellal stopped her. “It’s alright…”

“B-But..”

With that, he allowed the military men to take him. We rest at the Cait shelter while the others change their clothes well the outfit was rather revealing for girls except for Zana of course because she is still resting in the tent after her servants send her to them. They stepped out and the guys saw them…well.. their noise were bleeding. Natsu and the others have pieces of tissue stuffed up in their noses.

They stopped talking when they saw Zana came out from the tent being carry by Lyon at her side. Gray and Natsu growl silently when they saw Lyon touch their ‘Onee-san’ instead of them. Zana smile at Lyon and thank him for carrying her while she pulled her book close to her chest.

“It’s fine, onee-chan. You do look pale though. So I help you.” The white haired smile at her but his grips around her waist tighten a bit and frown, ‘Her magic… began less and less… is she not feeling well? Why is she looked so pale?’

Although, he did missed her a lot. He want to spend more time with her like they used to. He want her to messed up his hair, her hug, her concern, missing the warm she had always giving to him when he was a child. She always protected him back then... but now he is strong, he will be the one to protect her.

Let’s just say, Hibiki about to flirt with her but Natsu throw his tentrum at him for taking his onee-san attention more than himself.After that, everyone take their attention to the guild master of Cait Shelter. The guild master sigh sadly and said “ Wendy my dear, I must tell you something important. Cait Shelter isn’t real.”

“what do you mean?”

“When you’re young, a boy with blue hair brought you here to protect you.. none of us are real.. We died hundreads years ago when Nirvana  first appeared because..we built it but we had no idea it would be use for destruction.”

He place his hands on Wendy’s shoulder. “We all love you, Wendy. We always will..” She look at her guild and they smile at her. “Please take care of her for us..”

“We will..”

Zana knew this will happened but she doesn’t do anything except watch. Poor Wendy… With that, they vanish to the sky and Zana wrapped her arms around Wendy’s shoulder. After a few moment of silent, Zana hold her hand to help her stood up and said softly, “Let’s go home..”

She nodded while leaned on Zana’s side and walked slowly back to Fairy Tail where Wendy and Carla will be able to fit in.
