What if when she ran away, Jade had been adopted by Green Arrow and Black Canary? She became the hero, while her little sister Artemis became the villain. After joining the Team, Jade has to deal with the fact that her little sister is the villain...
A/N It's short. Assume all chapters will be. I figured out where my inspiration for this came from! Boy, did I get the name wrong 😂 Also, this is my spin on the episodes. Don't expect it to be super accurate. PS While I was writing this, I went to go see HTTYD: The Hidden World.... It was AWESOME and I LOVED it. Anyway, here's the inspiration (below)

Now, STORY TIME!!!
"I quit." Roy flung his hat to the ground. Jade grabbed his arm.
"Just calm down, Roy. Yes, they lied, but that's no reason to lose it. Just calm down. Take a few breaths. Please."
"Not the time, Jade. So not the time." He stormed off, his girlfriend watching him in shock. Then she shook her head, coming to her senses.
"Roy! You're being ridiculous! Get your a** back here!" She started to run after him, but Oliver grabbed her.
"Just give him a little while, Jade. He'll come back. Just give him time to calm down."
Jade huffed. "But, Dad-"
Oliver cut her off. "Just give him some time and he will calm down. I promise. Just keep yourself under control, ok Sweetheart?"
"Ok," She growled.
Oliver grinned. "Good girl."
A few minutes later, they got two calls. They adults handed the "more important" one.
"What about the fire?" Wally asked.
"The firemen will handle it. You four stay here," Batman said.
"But-" Jade started to say.
"Stay here."
"Fine."
The adults left. "We're not staying here, are we?" Kid Flash said.
"H***, no," Jade said at the time that Robin said "Nope," popping the 'p', and Kaldur said "I highly doubt it."
"Got it," Wally said.
"Let's go check out that fire," Robin said.
"Ok," Aqualad said. "Robin and Kid Flash, you'll scale the building and get any remaining people out. Cheshire and I will hold people back." Quick A/N Her outfit is exactly the same as it is in the show, 'cept that her mask doesn't cover her whole face. Think the Tigress mask.
"Got it," They said and headed out. Things do not go as planned, like at all.
They fought some, went somewhere they shouldn't've, found a clone of Superman, got knocked out, and woke up in capsules. "What the h***?" Jade said.
"I have no idea," Aqualad said.
"How reassuring," Cheshire snapped sarcastically.
"What happened though?" Kid Flash asked.
"I'm not sure," the great Boy Wonder said. "I remember getting shocked and crammed into these things. I have no idea how to get out."
"Well that's just great," Jade muttered.
"Turn down the sarcasm, Chesh," Robin said. The girl in question just rolled her eyes.
Suddenly, shocks ran through them. They continued on and on and on, making even Cheshire cry out. Finally, it stopped. A few minutes later, Superman's clone came in.
"Ok," Robin said. "You here to help us, or fry us?"
The clone stared at them. Then he said, "Well, I don't seem to have supervision, so I guess that I'll help." He helped them out of the capsules.
One thing lead to another and the five wound up escaping. Took out a bad guy. They accidentally destroyed the building along the way. Oops.
Not long afterwards, they were getting a scolding from the Justice League. "Regardless of the end results, we are not happy," Batman said. "You will not be doing this again."
"But we will," Aqualad said. "Apologies for my rudeness, but we did good work tonight. The work that you trained us to do. We forged something powerful tonight. Something important. We should be allowed to do work on our own."
"Well, you can't get away with everything," the Flash said.
"Well, you have two options," The clone, who they'd decided to call Superboy, said. "They're simple. Get on board, or get out of the way." Batman's eyes narrowed.
———The Next Day———
"Red Tornado will be your supervisor. Black Canary will be your trainer, and I will assign missions," Batman said.
"Missions? Like actual missions? Sweet!"
Wally exclaimed.
"Yes, actual missions. We need a team to operate in the shadows. The six of you are perfect for the job."
"Wait," Jade said. "Six of us?"
Martian Manhunter appeared with a girl who looked about sixteen. "This is Martian Manhunter's niece, Miss Martian, or M'gann M'orzz." Batman again.
"Cool," Said Jade. "Finally, another girl." Miss Martian grinned at her.
"I'm liking this gig more and more," Wally said. "I'm Kid Flash, or Wally West, that's Aqualad, or Kaldur'ahm, we call him Kaldur for short, that's Cheshire, or Jade Queen, and that's Boy Wonder/Robin, or Robin, he and Batsy take the secret ID thing very seriously."
Miss Martian smiled. "Well, as Batman already said, my name's M'gann. But you can call me Megan if you prefer."
Everything went smoothly. Jade and Megan soon became friends. Jade was buzzing when she, Oliver, and Dinah went home that night.
