Joes POV

You have horrible taste in men (y/n), let me just tell you that. After you had your date, I decided to follow the guy. In my exact words, he's an asshole.

After about 10 minutes of following him, I saw him walk inside a strip club.

Guess you left him horny.

Not even 5 minutes later, he walks out with some girl in 6 inch red heels, hand on her ass and everything. "What an asshole," I said quietly. I would assume they're going back to his apartment but I should probably go check and see, right?

The night was quiet, besides your dates snorts and his sluts giggles. They soon entered an apartment entrance, assuming that's where he lives. I already know what's going to happen the moment they enter his place, so I just went back to my apartment.

As I said before, you have horrible taste in men (y/n).

(Y/n) POV

You woke up feeling amazing. You couldn't stop smiling because of your date from last night. Since you had the day off, you decided to just run a couple of errands. You took a quick shower, got dressed, and ventured off into the world.

You were on your way to get some coffee, when you saw Mooney's bookstore. You finished the book you bought there three days ago, and you secretly wanted to see Joe again, so you started to walk towards the store. Upon entering, you saw Joe at the cashier register. "Someone looks happy today," Joe said smiling. "Oh you know, it's just one of those days," you said as you leaned against the counter. "Care to tell?" Joe said, lifting an eyebrow. "I just went on a date last night with the sweetest guy ever." You said, dreamily.

You didn't know if you were hallucinating, but you could have sworn you saw Joes eyes go dark for a second but then go back to normal. "Care to tell me the lucky mans name?" Joe said. "His names Aaron and he's just an awesome guy," You said. "Well, I hope you guys last for a long time." Joe said, giving you a warm smile. "Thanks Joe." You said.

After chatting for a bit longer, you decided to look for another book. Of course you asked Joe if there was anything new and he showed you some books that just came in a couple of days ago. 10 minutes later, you bought two books. "I'll see ya later Joe," You said, walking to the door. "Till next time (y/n)," Joe said, waving at you. You walked out of the store and carried on with your errands.

Joes POV

I was going through the money in the register when I saw you. Hair flowing and smiling as brightly as ever. I could tell you were in a good mood because of your date last night.

If only you knew what happened afterwards (y/n).

"Well someone looks happy today," I said smiling. "Oh you know, it's just one of those days," You said, leaning against the counter. "Care to tell?" I asked, even though I knew the answer. "I just went on a date last night with the sweetest guy ever," You said. I could practically see the hearts in your eyes and it made me want to gag.

He's not who you think he is (y/n). He's just going to hurt you in the end.

"Care to tell me the lucky mans name?" I said. From where you were standing you couldn't see, but I was gripping the counter from my anger. "His names Aaron and he's just an awesome guy." No he's not. "Well I hope you guys last for a long time." Ha, no I don't. "Thanks Joe." You said.

We talked for a bit longer until you decided to ask me what books I had and me ,being so smart with books, showed you the newest additions. After about 10 or so minutes, you found two that you liked and bought them. After paying for them, you bid your farewell and left the store.

I wonder how everything will unfold.
