A/N: Sorry this chapter was short, wanted to get it finished but single mom to three here and one is sick as heck recovering from croup and a few other things at the same time and trying to keep it from spreading to the other two as one thing is contagious. I do plan on either making a sequel or if they make another movie do another book with it as well, I wanted to leave it open like the movies ending that way if needed I could easily pick up where it left off. 6 MONTHS LATER
Telling Tom's ex and his girls about his death was the hardest thing I had ever had to do, they broke and no amount of money could fix that. After his service we left, Benny went with us to a certain extent and was still close but lived across the city we had moved to a small town in Washington. Benny was in a town next to us as Will and I wanted something smaller but Benny liked the city. We got a small 3 bedroom house that was situated in a nice wooded area, I loved it. I was currently 7 months pregnant and had a job at a local doctor office, Will was working at the Sherriff office. We had gotten all the stuff we needed for the baby but we also saved and invested some of the money we had as well. I was currently making a Cajun pasta with sausage chicken and shrimp. I heard the door open before I heard Will's keys hit the hall table before he came into the kitchen, his arms wrapping around me.
"How was your day handsome?" I asked turning in his arms and kissing him as he rubbed my stomach.
"Good, yours?"
"Good."
WILL POV
I couldn't believe I was getting ready to be a dad, Alex had woken me up in the middle of the night telling me her water had broken. I knew she was not comfortable as for a few weeks she would toss and turn half the night. Getting to the hospital I was kind of shocked when they said she was already at 8 cm and took her immediately to a room. I truly thought we had some time but I was wrong, I sent Benny a text before I was with her. Seeing your child being born is truly something amazing, Alex made it look easy three pushes and he was here. I cut the cord with tears in my eyes before handing him to her as she cried.
"Your amazing." I said pulling out a ring that had all three of our birthstones in it. The March aquamarine stone in the middle flanked by the diamond for my April birthday and the green for her August birthday the inside had his name in it, Thomas Charles Miller; we both wanted to honor the memory of Tom and couldn't think of anything better.
"Thank you." She said looking at me.
"No thank you, for being my wife and giving me a family, I couldn't do any of this without you."
I knew eventually everything that happened that week in the jungle would come back to us, when it did we'd be ready and I knew eventually we'd be going to get the rest of that money but for now I was totally content on sitting here with my son and my wife.
