The rays of the morning sun shone through the window as your eyes started to open. With the sun being directly in your eyes you groaned as sat up. Releasing a yawn you stretched your arms as you could hear the sound of your bones cracking. Looking around, you went into a slight panic about being in an unfamiliar room but calmed down when you remembered what happened.

"Guess that wasn't a dream after all. If that's the case then I must still be in Sekibanki's house." You said as you climbed out of bed. You found your clothes as you redressed for the day. You placed the spray bottle on your hip. When you were all set you walked out of the guest room to see no one around. "Guess she's still sleeping." You deducted while making your way to the kitchen. "Well, let's get to work."

Sekibanki was awaked by the sounds and smells of something cooking. She woke up from her bed as she got dressed for the day. She finished putting on her red cape as she walked out of her room. Only to be greeted by the sight of a table filled with food.

"Morning Sekibanki." You said as you greeted Sekibanki as she took a seat at the table. "I made breakfast." You said as you gestured to the food you had prepared for her. "Figured it was the least I could do since you let me live here. Go ahead and dig in."

"Thank you (Y/N)." She said as she got herself some food. You soon joined her as the two of you made small talk.

"So what do you plan on doing today?" Sekibanki asked as she ate her food.

"I don't know. I guess explore more of Gensokyo. I'll start with whatever is nearby." You said while thinking about where to go.

After Sekibanki ate her breakfast she sat in the living room reading a book. You walked past her and open the door. "I'll see you later Sekibanki! I'm going to check out that mountain in the distance." You said as you closed the door and started walking towards the mountain. Sekibanki, thinking nothing of it simply waved you off.

"Have fun." Was all she said. After a moment of silence, she came to a realization. She placed her book down as turned to face the door you walked out of. "Wait."

You walked through the human village as you would receive the odd glance from the people you passed by because of the clothes that you wearing. However, people would figure you for an outsider so they didn't think further on the matter. Arriving at the gates of the village you were greeted by the two guards that stopped you yesterday. "Morning you two." You said as the two of them looked at you.

"Morning to you as well sir." The first guard said as the other one nodded. "What are you doing here so early?"

"I'm going to go over to that mountain over there." You said happily as you pointed at the biggest mountain in the area. The guards looked over before turning back to you.

"Sir, I know you're an outsider, so you probably don't know about the area. So I advise you not to go to Yokai Mountain." The second guard said as you looked at him curiously.

"Yokai mountain? You mean there's yokai up there?" You asked as he nodded.

"A number of them, and they aren't fond of people walking into their area." He said as he expected you to change your mind and stay in the village.

"That sounds fantastic!" You yelled in excitement as the two guards looked at you like you were insane, which you probably were. "That means there are all sorts of interesting people up there."

"Sir I don't think you understand." The guard tried to tell you again.

"Just let him go." The second guard said as he could tell there wasn't any changing your mind. The first guard sighed as he nodded. The two of them opened the gate as you thanked them and walked out. "A shame, he seemed like a nice guy."
