Chapter 7: Earlier

Samantha's POV

*Alarm Tone*

"Urghh! I'm still sleepy!!" Itinakip ko ang dalawang unan sa bandang tenga ko but it's still no use. Ang ingay pa rin.

Finally, I reached my hand to get my phone and turned it off.

After 5 minutes.... *Alarm Tone*

"Waahhh!"

Again, I turned it off and cancelled all the alarms. Ha! Let's see kung makakadisturbo ka pa. Now, I can get back to sleep.

After 10 minutes...

"Sam!!! Malelate ka na sa school mo! Get up already." I heard mom shouting downstairs.

'Urgh! Pleaseeee... I need more sleep... Four hours lang tulog ko kagabi because of that studying thing.'

"Mom! Just one more minute please." I went to sleep again.

"Sam! Maligo ka na! Tapos na ang 1 minute mo. You're going to be late again! May exam ka ngayon sa major subject mo diba?" Mom said shouting.

"Omygollie! Ohhh... I almost forgot! I have a test today! I'm doomed!" I got off my bed and went to the comfort room for a shower.

"Ha! The water is freezing cold!" So, I turned the switch to warm temperature. Phew!

"Hmm... Much better." I said in a calm tone.

"Oh my I need to hurry na pala."

I immediately went to my walk-in closet and start picking up my uniform.

After that, dali-dali kong sinuot ang school uniform ko at inayos ko ang sarili ko bago bumaba patungong kusina. Hmm... I don't usually put make-ups kasi mas gusto ko ang natural. Kunting suklay ng buhok and a lipbalm, and voila! I'm all done. In some occasions lang talaga ako naglalagay ng girl thingy sa face.

Before I finally went downstairs, I took a glance at the mirror. Indeed, nakuha ko talaga ang color hazel na mata ni mom. I've got my father's hair too, it's like a photocopy nga eh. Medyo wavy ang hair ko na color black, but di naman ito masyadong maitim. Nasa katamtaman lang. Also, I've got their pointy-perfect nose. Bagay talaga sila mom at dad sobra. They're well-matched made from heaven. And oh! Before I forget, their names are Christopher and Sheryl. And nag-iisang anak nila ako. Guess I'll have to officially introduce myself huh? Well, I'm Samantha Kytle Lois Montecillo nga pala, will be 22 years old this year. And I am taking up a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Harrington University-a prestigious school. Well, everyone wants to go to this school. However, masyadong mahal ang tuition kaya most of the students are from the elite class. Honestly, I want to study Medicine but ako ang susunod sa yapak ng parents ko, so I have no choice but to choose a business-related course. After this, I will take up my MBA in Global Management for two years lang naman. But as of now, I'm working with my own business which is ako mismo ang nagma-manage. This will be a great start before I'll take over my dad's.

Obviously, my father is a business man. A business tycoon to be exact- same with my mom. We have our own business company called Montecillo Inc. And let's just say na... erm how would I say this. I don't want to brag but our company is the 2nd largest company in the country. Well, Mondragon Inc. is on the top. Which is a very close family to us. Pero through it all, humble pa rin sila. We own a lot of private buildings, restaurants, shops, malls, hotels, factories, etc. inside and outside of the country. While the Mondragon focuses on science, medicine, pharmaceutics, engineering, communications, technology, agriculture, etc.
