Jealousy

(Rich POV)

I pull away from Michael with a smile on my face. I didn't know he liked me! Michael looks at me as the past minutes registers in his mind. He kissed ME. I didn't kiss him! Michael whispers something quietly.

"What?" I ask.

"I like Jeremy," he says. Then he looks down at the ground. My eyes widen and my heart breaks.

"B-but Michael!?" Michael looks away ashamed.

"He'll never want me," Michael whispers. I take a deep breath. Just in time because Michael suddenly moves forward and he's kissing me again. Michael mumbles something but I'm too happy to notice.

(Still Rich's POV)

It's been three since Michael and I... Well what even are we? I don't know But whatever it is I want to stay this way. I have liked Michael for years. Even before his.. accident... But I never thought he might like me too!

Michael wants to go see Jeremy in the hospital and this time I'm going too! I can't wait. Not just cause I wasn't too show Jeremy that Michael and I are.. Together?.. But also because I need to apologize for being so mean to him. I forgot to last time. I only bullied him Because I knew he was going to be more popular than me. Also my squip said to.

Michael opens my door and grabs my hand pulling me out.

"Come on Rich!" He says. "Visiting hours dont last forever you know!"
I laugh and get out. We hold hands all the way upstairs. Michael has been here so much that he doesnt need to check in with the front desk.

"Hey Michael!" A nurse says as we walk to Jeremys door.

"Hey Pam!" He says smiling at her.

We finally make it to Jeremy's room and I grab Michaels hand tighter. He looks at my worried face and smiles.

"Its Okay. I'm sure he will understand and forgive you," Michael reassures me. I feel a little better so I nod. He turns to the door and opens it. Jeremy looks up when we walk in.

"Hi Michael!" He says excited. Then he notices me... then Michael and I's intertwined hands. He frowns. "Rich? What are you doing heere?" (Haha Heere) I let go of Michaels hand.

(Jeremy's POV)

I glare at Rich as he explains that he is sorry he bullied me and everything. I can't stop thinking about how him and Michael were holding hands when they first came in.

"And I'm thorry (sorry) that I wath (was) thuch (such) a jerk," he looks at me expectantly. My face softens when I realize how uncomfortable he is.

"Its fine Rich," I say. It is fine because I really don't care about that. I just want to know why they were holding hands. They didn't do that last time they visited. If Rich is trying to take Michael away from me... No! Michael isn't mine. I don't like Michael... Oh god! I like Michael.

Rich visibly relaxes next to Michael. Michael walks over to the bench next to my bed and Rich follows. After they sit down we just talk for a while. Half way through our talk, Rich grabs Michaels hand. I see Michael flinch slightly. Rich wouldn't be able to notice it but because Michael and I have been friends for 13 years i see these things.

Pam comes into the room and tells them they have to leave. Before they go I decide that I should at least ask them....

"Hey, Michael?" I say. He turns around.

"What Jer?" He asks confused.

"Are you and Rich a.. Thing?"

He flinches again like earlier. "Yeah," he says after a long pause. Then they walk out of the room hand in hand.

I have to get Michael back!!!
