I walked to my locker, making sure that I don't step on someone foot.

Jake was leaning against my locker looking at his phone. I smiled to myself and approached him.

"Hey." I said and his head shot up. He smirked as he checked me out.

"Did you dress up for me, babe?" Jake winked at me. I blushed and did my combo for my locker.

"I'll walk you to class." Jake told me. I smiled at him and got my notebook and binder for Chemistry.

I nodded my head and we walked to 1st period.

Once we were in front of the door, Jake grabbed my hand.

I looked up at him and he smiled.

He kissed my forehead and left me speechless.

Well, I guess we kissed before but I don't wanna count that.

I walked in the classroom, and I got a few stares. I might have been because of my heels.

Jack wasn't there yet, which made me a bit happy. I checked my phone and saw that there was 5 minutes until the bell rang.

So I hooked up my ear buds to my phone and listened to music.

The first song that came on was Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri.

I started humming softly.

About halfway through the song, Jack came in. He did his normal routine: winking at girls with caked faces.

I rolled my eyes like usual and continued drawing in my notebook and humming to the song.

Jack sat down and dropped his stuff loudly on the lab.

He was quiet for a few seconds before talking.

"Your a good singer." I blushed and unplugged the earbuds.

"But you didn't hear me sing." I stated and shoved my phone in my pocket.

"You were humming, which was close, I guess." Jack shrugged.

"Thanks" I mumbled.

Thankfully, Mr. Burmings saved the awkwardness.

After the bell rang, I gathered my stuff to go. I sort of rushed out, kind of too quick.

I forgot I was wearing heels and I tripped.

Even worse, I fell on top of none other than Jack.

"Owww" he groaned. I bit my lip and tried to get up.

But I just ended up falling again.

Jack got up and let out a hand. I hesitated before grabbing it.

"I'm guessing you don't wear heels often." He smirked.

"Definitely not." I sighed and smiled.

"Sorry, by the way." I apologized. Jack smiled warmly at me. I spun around and hurried to my locker. Girls glared at me.

Once I reached my locker, my feet were killing me. I sat down and took the heels off. I grabbed my red converse from my backpack and put them on. It felt sooo good.

That's the last time I'm wearing heels.
