After class I got to my locker to put my books down when all of a sudden there were screams and shouting. People ignored the noises and just walked away. I follow the screams that end at a door. I tried opening it but it wouldn't budge. I looked through the window and saw a black girl being whipped .
The scars on her body bleeding out. The white boy just stood there watching them beat the sh*t out of her.
I couldn't watch any more. I ran to the bathroom and broke down. The sound of the whip hitting her skin and her cries for help just ringing in my ears. Someone entered the bathroom.

'Shanae, you there?' asked Alana in a worried tone.

'Yeah, I'm here' I replied in a shaky voice.

'You good?' Alana asked

'Nah' I replied

Suddenly the toilet stall opened and Alana came in and sat down in front of me.

'Oh My Gosh gurl what happened to you?' She asked

'Is that what happens to you when you break the rules' I asked

'You saw it didn't you' Alana said in a blank voice.

' Why are the people in this town so f*cked up?' I asked whiles trying to calm myself down

'I can't answer your question but I do know that everyone has some good in their hearts even if they're f*cked up' She said

'You remind me of my aunt Tina, wise and pretty but also ratchet as f*ck' I said with a little smile on my face.

'I ain't ratchet b*tch' Alana said in a shocked tone

I looked at her with my mhmm face

'Yea, sure you aren't' I said in a sarcastic tone.
The bell rung so we got up and went to the cafeteria.

'Why everyone looking at us?' I ask as we enter the cafeteria
Wow the white people stay on the left side of the cafeteria whiles the black people stay on the right side

'IDK gurl but I know they looking at you cause have you seen your fine a*s in the mirror, you look poppin' said Alana with a smile on her face.

'Awwwwww, thanks for the compliment' I said in a sickening sweet tone

'Don't get used to it b*tch' Alana said in a sarcastic voice.

After we got our food which consisted of a cheeseburger,wings,salad and one ugly looking pizza, Alana led me to a table with a group of people and I soon spotted Yara.

'Wassup my niggas, this be my friend Shanae Sterling moved from downtown New York to this sh*t hole of a town' Alana said with a smirk on her face

'Shanae meet Jarelle, Nissey, Michael and Arlisaa, our squad' Yara introduced

'Hey baby girl, the name's Jarelle' said Jarelle with a smirk on his Adonis face.
I mean I love white chocolate but sometimes I prefer milk chocolate 😉

I won't lie cuz Jarelle is fine as f*ck, no questions asked but I sense he's a player with to many sidechicks and to much arrogance so pass.

'Hi boy the name's Shanae' I said with my kind voice

'I ain't no boy ma, I'm a whole man' he replied with a smug smile

'You sure you don't got a 1.5 inch d*ck under all that' I said sarcastically

Yara, Alana and Arlissa giggled trying to hold in their laughter but failed miserably whiles Nissey and Michael were laughing their a*ses off. Jarelle just grumbled and pouted mumbling some words and I was just grinning like cardi B okuuurrr.

We ate our food, talked, laughed then headed back to our classes once the bell rung.

-time skip-
School had ended and I was walking home. I just couldn't shake the feeling that someone's watching me. I turned around and saw no one. Now I'm just going mad. I reached home. Had some food. Studied and finished my homework and finally went to bed and slept like Drake.

So how was this chapter I feel like it was longer than chapter 1
