(Third person POV)

He loved her. She loved him. Two had met a few months ago under circumstances that would be described as acts of fate. During these months they had come close as a man and a woman could ever be. They had shared some of the most beautiful moments of life. All this is now history. Fate and circumstances led to them parting ways. The pain gnawing away at their hearts. Memories of the same love are painful, indeed painful. When they parted, the first signs of pain were already there but she was feeling it more than he was or was it the other way around? Days, weeks and months passed and it seemed as if she was back to normal. Smiling here and there, she even has a boyfriend but there's not a moment that goes back where she would think about him. And one day it all builds up and she flings herself off the Golden Gate Bridge.

He however went back to his old ruthless ways. Now the mayor of the town, he rules the town with an iron fist. Women throw themselves at him mindlessly. Not knowing the dangers of his being. At every other moment, irrespective of what he was doing at that time, his heart would bring up her name. He couldn't get over her even if he tried because he knew that his heart would forever be hers even if she didn't know it.

The end

------------------------
I know I know it's short but the perfect way to end the book. There would definitely be a sequel and I'm working on it. My lovelies this is not the end of our dear Shanae and Lucius. (For the mean time please check out my other book The Tales of a French Woman. Comment, Vote and most importantly read)

Til next time my lovelies 😘
Goodbye and good day
