Z p.o.v

After coming up with a plan to bring in Cha-cha and Hazel, so we can talk to the Handler and maybe get her to undo all of this before it even happens. We take the family car and head over to the planned location with the fake briefcase and wait for them to arrive. I was sitting in the back while Luther drove and Five was in the passenger seat. With the briefcase next to me, I look around to see if there was anything unusual that would tell me if we where bei9ng set up or not. Sitting in an awkward silence before Five breaks it.

"You know, we never enjoyed it," He confessed, referring to our work.

"I actually was very against it, until you know, I realized there was no other option," I two confess.

"What?" Luther asked turning his attention back to us.

"Killing," Both Five and I answer at the same time.

"I mean, we were good at our job, and we..." Five began trying to his best to find a way to explain it to him.

"Took pride at our work, but it never gave us pleasure," I finish for him. I could see Five facing me now, giving me a soft smile, thanking me that he didn't have to say it. Five always said I was good with words, good at explaining. Maybe it was the leader in me, or maybe it's because I feel like both Five and I share the same emotions, sometimes. I know exactly what he's trying to say and I put it into words. He also isn't very good at expressing how he feels either, which makes it difficult for him to express how he truly feels.

"Maybe it was all those years alone, solitude can do funny things to the mind, but thankfully I wasn't all alone," Five began as if reflecting on himself. Finishing his sentence with his right hand reached over behind the chair putting his hand out to me. Slightly I moved placed my hand on his, trying not to bring the attention from Luther to us. He gave me a light squeeze once he felt my palm on his, bring a slight smile on my face.

"You guys were gone for such a long time, I only spent four years on the moon but that was more than enough time, it's the being alone that breaks you," Luther also confessed, looking forward, oblivious to what Five and I were doing.

I noticed Luther moving his body to face me, I quickly let go of Five's hand and he brings it back to where he was.

"You think they'll buy it?" Luther asked looking at the briefcase next to me.

"Well, what I do know is that they're desperate," I said moving it towards the middle of the car so Luther and Five can look at it one more time.

"It's like a cop losing his gun. If the commission finds out, they'll be in deep shit," Five explained to Luther why the briefcase is so important.

"Not to mention the fact that they'll be stuck here until they get it back," I also added.

"Well, I should hold onto it," Luther said looking at the both of us.

"Hm?" Five asked as I gave him a look of question.

"In case they make a move on you guys," Luther explained obviously trying to protect us.

"Okay Luther, but be careful," Five said agreeing with him. Maye because he doesn't want anything to happen to me, which of course fills me with warmth in my heart. "I mean, I've...we've lived a long life, but...you're still a young man. You got your whole life ahead of you," Five said to him, trying his best to show that he cares.

"Don't waste it," I said, giving him some strong advice. Luther looked back at the both of us with a look, making almost want to laugh.

Not long after our conversation, we see a car coming towards us on the road.
