I can’t believe Alex. After last night I thought it would have changed things for us. At least a little bit. All I wanted to do tonight was spend time with her but she practically pushed me out the door. To a party where she knew I would be meeting some chick. Was last night really nothing more to her than a way to forget for a little while?

If that’s true then I really don’t know how to feel or think about it. Last night was amazing to me. She is amazing to me. I know she is attracted to me, last night is proof of that but is that all she feels for me?

Frustrated I slammed my fist into the wall, causing it to dent in. “Shit” I groaned running my hand through my hair.

“Hey man, you okay in there?” Levi asked from the hall.

“Yeah, I’m good. I’ll be out shortly and we can go,” I called back. You know maybe this will be good. I mean what do I really think is gonna happen between Alex and me? That she’s just gonna confess she never got over me, that she has been in love with me this whole time? Oh yeah I’m sure. Then Levi is just gonna say. ‘Hey man, I can’t think of a better guy for my baby sister. I was so wrong all those years ago, have at her.’

In my dreams maybe, I have no chance of things working out with Alex. Of everyone being happy about it and for me to finally get the one girl I have always wanted. Nope, so why not at least have some fun with my life? I mean Sierra is pretty hot, she’s no Alex but there is no girl on this planet that can compare to her. Alex is my perfection.

Sighing I took one last look in the mirror before walking out to meet Levi in the kitchen. “Ready man?” I asked wanting to leave before I changed my mind.

“Yep, let’s go,” He said before heading towards the door.

When we pulled up to the party it looked like it was already in full swing. There were people everywhere, on the front porch, in the grass leaning on cars in the driveway. Oh the fun of college life.

Walking in, it was pretty similar except with loader music and a bunch of hot sweaty bodies grinding up on each other. We made our way through everyone to the kitchen where we poured a shot toasting to friends just before Levi’s girl Emily and Sierra came bounding up to us.

“Hey babe,” Emily said jumping into Levi’s arms. Their mouths met in a ruff messy kiss that didn’t last long before she pulled away and looked towards me. “Sorry hey Cade, this is Sierra. Sierra, Cade,” She said introducing us.

“Hey,” I said extending my hand. She is a very beautiful girl and she looked sexy as hell tonight.

“Hi Cade it’s a pleasure to meet you,” She said with a seductive smile playing on her lips. Damn. It doesn’t look like this one is even gonna be a challenge.

“Here you guys go,” Levi said handing us both a shot. “To possibilities,” He toasted before we all drank.
