Today is Levi's fifteenth birthday. For the past two weeks we have been the same age and he hates that. Mom says we're what they call Irish twins meaning we are so close in age but from different pregnancies. I say it's more that mom and dad can never keep their hands off each other, so mom got pregnant a second time a lot sooner than they meant to. Either way it's fun to tease Levi those two weeks every year.

Anyways back to the matter at hand, Levi's party. He is having a boy/girl party and mom said Levi had to let myself and my cousin Bella come and hang out with all of them. That means I get to hang out with all of his friends and he has some cute friends,especially Cade.

You would think with how much time our family spends with Cade or the fact that he has been in my life since I was born or even since I call his parents aunt Callie and Uncle Aiden, I would look at him as another brother but I don't. Actually not even close, I have had a crush on him for as long as I can remember. He was always my knight in shining armor, picking me up when I fell, convincing Levi to let me play with them and so many other things over the years.

So here I am trying to make myself extra cute for this party. I just finished curling my hair and putting on some mascara when my door swung open. “Oh my god Alex, tonight is going to be so much fun, do you think Ben will talk to me? Oh maybe I can sit next to him during the movie. What if they play spin the bottle or something? I have never kissed a boy. Oh god I am freaking!” Bella cried.

I couldn't help but laugh. Bella Is so crazy but she's my cousin and my best friend and I love her.

“Calm down, it will be fine, we'll have fun and if we get our first kiss tonight then we'll just go with it. Just follow his lead and it will all be okay.” I told her with a smile.

I watched as she visually relaxed. “Okay. Okay it will be fine. I'll just take it one step at a time.” I nodded and then went to my closet to find something to wear. I'm glad my advice helped her because inside I am completely freaking out right now. I just have a feeling about tonight, like something big is going to happen.

“So what are you going to wear Alex?” Bella asked. I looked out of my closet at her, she looked beautiful. Her long blonde hair was down just barely curled at the ends and she was wearing a baby blue dress topped with a white cardigan that really brought out her eyes, she looks so much like her mom. I hear that all the time too, “You look so much like your mom” and I guess I do. We have the same dark brown hair, thick with a natural wave. Hazel eyes that at times look green and of course our height. Where Tess who isn't even fourteen yet, is already a good five foot six inches, I'm a measly Five foot one.
