Everything was changing and Kara couldn't help but watch as Lena cooked their breakfast.

Lena stood by the stove in one of Kara's shirts that was too big for her and a pair of pants.

"Hmm, you're wearing my shirt." Kara breathes out with a warm smile.

"I am." Lena said, flipping the pancake in the pan.

Moving over to her, Kara wraps her arms around Lena's waist from behind. "You look amazing in it."

Lena blushed.

Kara smiled, she pressed her lips to Lena's neck and gently rubbed Lena's chest. "Lungs still working?"

"For now." Lena said with a nod.

"Good." The Super breathes out, moving to suck on her pulse point

Lena giggles. "That tickles." She flipped the pancake again and wriggled in Kara's arms.

Grinning, Kara turns Lena's head slightly and kisses her slowly and passionately.

Lena let go of the frying pan handle.

Smiling into the kiss, Kara tilts her head to the side.

Lena releases a quiet moan.

Slowly, Kara pulls away and smiles warmly at Lena. "Pancakes are burning."

Lena blushed, she licked her lips and turned back to the stove.

Grinning, the blonde steps back and watches Lena make their food.

Lena's eyes danced over the stove and she furrowed her brows in concentration.

"You're looking even more beautiful like this." Kara breathes out softly.

Lena blushed. "Make your coffee." She instructed, rolling her eyes.

Moving away, Kara begins making her coffee.

It wasn't long before Lena had stacked a pile of six thick pancakes onto a plate for Kara and three onto a plate for herself.

Kara's excitement was noticeable as Lena brought the pancakes to her.

"Eat up." Lena said. She placed a kiss on Kara's forehead before moving to make herself a tea.

Kara couldn't hide the smile that graced her lips. She thought back to a few weeks ago when Lena had told her that she felt like a burden, when Alex had discovered that Lena had a collapsed lung, when Lena had been rushed into surgery. Kara could have lost Lena in that moment. She had been so scared, pacing around the halls of the DEO until Alex had come out to give her the news that they'd managed to save Lena's life. To say Kara felt relieved, was an understatement.

"Eat." Lena whispers, nudging Kara.

Kara snapped out of her thoughts as she watched Lena slide gracefully into the chair beside her.

"You're distracted." Lena says softly.

"I was just thinking about how grateful I am that you're alive." Kara said.

Smiling warmly, Lena leans over and kisses Kara gently. "Me too. I owe your sister my life."

Kara smiled, her eyes travelled to her pancakes and her stomach growled.

"Now eat." Lena teases before turning her attention toward her own plate.

Kara blushed and began eating.

The younger girl begins cutting her food up, eating slowly. Three wasn't a good idea for her.

"Are you alright?" Kara asked, noticing the look on Lena's face.
