He is kissing me. It feels so good, so real like I want more but I can't let my body decide. I tried my best to push him away. Every time I push he'd hold on to me tight. I dig my nails into his unimaginably strong arms, I did every possible way to push him and in the end, I bit him. As I bit his lip he pulled away. With the now blooded lip, he looked at me and gave me a smug smile that annoyed and angered me eventually making me slap him.
That was the right thing to do. Of course, even if it felt right I shouldn't. Agh! Why did I even think it felt good. Maybe because I haven't been with someone for a long time. I was trying my best to vindicate my thoughts of the kiss.
I opened the door and ran until I find the front door. When I was at the large stunning front door I struggled to open it. It was locked. I had the eeriest feeling and my legs felt numb. I was wondering where did all that gallantry go? I hate the way my mind works nowadays.
I was so calm and unbothered in my own personal space until he comes in and makes my brain go all haywire.
Suddenly a hand held my shoulder. I jumped to see that it was just Molly, the old woman who works here.
"Hey dear, why do you look so scared?" She asked. "I was making something for you to eat. Aren't you hungry?"
"No!" My stomach growled on the instant. I ignored it and continued, "Can you open the door for me. I need to get out of here." I said.
"Your tummy says the other way." She remarked on how bad my stomach was screaming for food. I badly wanted to eat but getting out was more important.
"Hey, teacher! Come on, eat and go, I'll drop you." The redhead came down the stairs. "No one's gonna bite you" He smirked. He knew. I looked upstairs to see Sam staring at me.
Was he there the whole time? Did he just watch my petty attempt to open the damn door? Was he enjoying the sense of supremacy he has? And what is his business? One time he'd be like 'I'm gonna kill you if you tell someone' and then he's all cool and sweet. He needs a doctor. I need to get away before I need one.
His lip was still bloody and now it's turning a bit blue. Suddenly a sense of guilt came off but I'm sure he wasn't for kissing me without permission. If he had a conscience he would've apologized and not smirked like that.
"Come, come now. Don't be shy." I sighed and followed Molly to the kitchen. As much as I wanted to get out I wanted to eat too. I wonder whether that girl is doing fine at the hospital. I should probably go and check on her. I promised her I'll come.
The redhead was walking like a hollow man behind me. "Hey teacher, what's your name? I never got to introduce." He stood up straight and gave his hand for a shake. "Hi. I'm Rory."
"Lily. Lily Mason." I said and shook his hand. "Nice meeting you Lily." The redhead was a nice kid. He looked like a high schooler. His face held curiosity but to avoid more talk I ignore him. I was not interested in building any conversation with anyone related to Sam.
We sat down to eat. As surprising as it sounds we ate in silence for a good ten or probably eight minutes until Sam came in and sat in front of me. He kept his eyes fixed on me as he did, which made me very uncomfortable. I wanted to get up and leave but I had my own philosophy to not to waste food. There are thousands of people starving in the world and even though some say, we not wasting isn't gonna help because it's all politics, I believe there's someone watching above us that we'll have to answer some day.
I lowered my head a bit more and ate swiftly.
"Don't choke on it." He said. I looked up and our eyes locked in the mysterious way that it did like the first time we met on that rainy day. Even though that was for a second I could somehow read his obscure eyes. Now that I saw his eyes, they were so chocolaty brown that felt like I'm in the Willy Wonka factory. If I leaped in I could see myself glittering in there. I'm afraid I'd melt in there.
He was the first to break contact. I suddenly felt embarrassed at being caught on staring. I badly wanted to look at them again but didn't dare to.
I guess I am bipolar. One time I'd be hating him and then lost in his eyes.
The simple realistic thought made me hate myself. I hate that he had made me into this. Before him, I was so calm, undisturbed in my little space of life.
Before him.
He keeps making me compare my past and present. Because I hated this change. I soon wanted it to end. And now that I think this would be my first time staying out of the house. My parents were strict and that's why I'm a rebel. That's why I don't listen. But that's a story for another time.
Parents!
"I should call my mom," I said standing up and taking my plate to wash, which Molly insisted badly on doing. I ran upstairs to where I had stupidly dropped the bag because of a kiss to retrieve it. I looked at my phone screen, that read 16 missed calls and 5 texts. I quickly unlocked it to check half of the calls are from home. Before dialing back I went to check the messages which apparently were from my brother,
*Yo, where are you?-*
*Call back. Mom's furious.-*
*AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-*
*Okay, so whatever you do take care. I'll handle mom. Don't worry.-*
*Yo, I just searched Maxton. He's damn good. Too good for you ;)-*
What the hell is he talking about? I decided It's safe to text Jared-my brother before I call mom. We always compare our stories before we lie. We're like crime partners.
-*Hey birdie, is mom near you?*
**No, why?**
I called him, Yes! I'm lazy to type.
ringing
"Hello."
"Hey birdie, what did you tell mom."
"Wow, No Hello. how are you? Disappointed in you Miss. Mason."
"Haha. Not funny dude."
"Okay. I told your phone is dead and you texted me before that to tell that you are staying at Julie's, that's it."
"Did she not suspect anything? Did you tell Julie?"
"Of course she did. You know her. She's just mom. Don't worry. And No. I didn't call Julie."
"Hmm... I really don't wanna start another fight again. It was so peaceful and I like to stay that way."
"Yeah. Anyway, what are you doing at Maxton's."
"Oh, Yeah. I was gonna ask. Who's Maxton?"
"Me." A voice appeared behind me.
"Samuel Lee Maxton. You are telling me you don't know the person you are with?" My brother continued while I was stuck looking at the man that was staring at me with his big brown eyes.
