I sat in the leather chair, with my legs crossed, staring into the same matching green orbs as my mother. She should have known, all of my life, that I was the one who would do something if I put my mind to it; you can call me stubborn for that.

The glares my step- father was sending me, as he pacing across the white marble floor, were filled with disgust. It wasn't my problem for falling in love with enemy. How couldn't I? I mean, he has this gorgeous flowing chocolate brown hair and complimenting blue eyes that I could not resist. My father just needs to see that.

“ You shouldn’t do that, static shock comes afterwards.”, I said to him, with a slight angry tone in my voice.

He turned to me, pointing his long fingers to me and said, viciously, “ Don’t you dare speak, Harold! I have heard enough of your babbling.”

I smirked as I sat up, not changing anything about my posture. With slight sarcasm, I said,“ You expect me to lie to you?”

“ No, I expect you to be smart, be wise. Not a dumby, like the maid we have! Harry, do you ever think of what you do or say before you want it?! Why the hell did I ask, I know the answer is no!”

I tapped my fingers against the arm rest, “ What are you trying to say? That I am dumb? That I do things to make you angry?! No I don’t but he is someone I love and you can't that away from me."

He walked over the me and covered the sight of my mother so, that he was the only thing I could see.

He said to me, staring directly into my green eyes, ” Harry.. as your father-“

I cut him off and said to him, jerkishly, “ You  are not my father..”

He grasped my body, tensely, and said," Don't you dare speak to me. I am the closest thing you have to father. So, you need to listen."

He released his grip and I stood right in front of him, arms crossed and said, not caring what his opinion is," What is it you need to tell me?"

"Do you honestly think that he would want you?", he said to me, with wonder.

Faces close, I said, with angrily, “ What are you trying to say? He and I, won't make it?”

“ Yes and you know it."

I glared at him, with eyes of death and said back," Don’t you dare predict the future for me. You know nothing about at all!"

He smirked. I tried to look at my mother but the stern look on her face made me think twice about staring at her. With annoyance in the voice, she said, “ Harry you have to attention span of a four year old. You would  get bored with him even if you set your mind to it. Your still Harry.”

I walked around him to my mother and said," I want him and you can’t stop me.”

She said back to me, sternly,"Well, I can asure you of one thing; You will not be staying here, if you want him Harry. “

" You would rather throw me out because of some person I fall in love with?", I said, questioning.

"Yes. We would and we are not afraid to. Falling in love with the enemy will bring tension and that is simply not needed."

"Well, I get it then.", I said, understanding.

She smiled at me and said, happily," Good, now that we have gotten this off your mind. Please join us in the fresh air, Harold."

“ Why would I? I’m not your child.”, I said, angrily. I walked away from the dining room and escaped to my bedroom to grab a couple things.

" Farwell, it was nice while it lasted. Don’t cry too much.”, I said as I came down the stairs and I walked out my house, going from a life of fancy things to a life of nothing."
