I walked down to the gate and allowed myself out off the premises. I can’t believe I am actually leaving my life and starting over. I understand why I did this but I don’t understand why my parents can’t accept my love choice. I understand he is part of the enemy clan but can’t they give me some leeway. I guess not.

I now found myself walking around the city of Verona. I feel so alone and lost. I have no idea what to do. As I walk around, I see the candlelight glistening through the windows of the sandstone façade buildings. I am looking around thinking ‘how did I go from living in a grand palace to walking around the streets of my native city.’ I knew the answer to that. Love.

I end up stumbling upon the local church. I grasped the doorknob of the large wooden door and I entered the massive gothic structure. I found a seat in the back and just reflected upon what just happened.

In the echoes of this massive hall, I hear a familiar saying,” Harry.”

I look up and notice Friar Horan was yelling my name. I said back, with a thought,” Niall.” We call him Niall because he doesn’t like being called Friar Horan.

He says back to me,” What are you doing here at such a late hour?”

He comes over and sits next me. I say to him,” I left.”

“Where did you leave?”

With tears forming in my eyes, I say back,” I left home.”

Niall pats me on the back, sympathetically, and says,” Why did you leave home?”

“I told them the name of my love.” I say back.

“You mean, Louis?”

I say back, questioning,” How did you know?”

“Come on, Harry. I seen the way you look at him when you both are on the street and walk past each other. I knew this for while but I never wanted to say anything until I knew something was up.” He says back, honestly.

“What should I do?”

“Well, I know the Tomlinson’s are having a party tonight. You should go.” He says to me.

I look at him with a questioning look and I say,” How am I suppose to go to a party that is of enemy territory?”

“I will leave that up to you to think about. Harry, I bid you farewell and I hope everything works out for you.” Niall says and leaves my presence.

I thought about what Niall said. How was I suppose to get into this party without getting caught? I could not just walk up to the front door and waltz right in. Well, maybe I could. One day, I remember seeing a flier in town about this ball. It says it was a masquerade ball. Now I know what to do.

I stroll up to the party in my suit. My face was disguised with a mask that could not make recognizable. My hair stood a quiff because if I did wear my hair as curls, I would instantly recognizable.

I entered the ball and I looked around for that charming lad. Walking throw a crowded area for him wasn’t easy; the Tomlinson’s were known for their big events and gatherings they had frequently. I had known that from Niall telling me what was going on when the nights were quiet.  I pushed passed people to get to the other side of the room, I didn’t want to get too close to Jay, and she would have known it was me just by staring into my eyes. She knew them by now from all of the long arguments my mother shared with her. I walked over to the area where the drinks where held at. I reached for a glass and that was when I heard his angelic voice flow right next to me.
