‘Hey babe! Why so down?’

‘Oh it’s you! And dude what have I told you about calling me that’ I said

‘Haha, you know I said it to annoy you’ he said while laughing

You see what I have to deal with every day; I wonder why I’m still friends with him. His name is Jay, he’s my only actual friend, I don’t really talk to anybody at school and he has been my friend forever. Jay doesn’t go to the same school as me, he had to transfer a few years ago when he ‘came out of the closet’, yeah jay is gay; it can be weird at times but he’s more like a brother to me.

‘Yeah, stupid. What do you want?’ I asked

‘Why do you always think I’m calling you for something maybe I just wanted to talk to you’ Jay said

‘Dude! You always want something; now get to the point already’ I said annoyed, he always does this

‘Okay you got me. What are you going to do this weekend?’ he asked hopefully

‘Not much maybe go to the gym for a while, why?’ I asked dreading the answer he always wants me to go places I don’t want to go

‘There’s a party this weekend, I want you to come with Adam and me, please come you never get out of you house, you need to live a little man!’ Jay said

‘Okay, fine I’ll go with you and your boyfriend but no lovely dovey shit in front of me got it?’ I said

‘Yeah whatever fine, oh and I’m coming by tomorrow and bye I have to go now’ he said in a rush and then hung up.

You see he’s crazy and I have to deal with that almost every day thank god he hasn’t been around lately for some reason but that’s not gonna last for long.

He next day i got to physics class and sat in my seat next to scarlett. Of course ignored me like always, i dont know why she hates me so much its not like ihave done that many mean things to her.

The teacher started talking some nonsecense about average speed and stuff, i can learn all this stuff on my own and in prefer it that why. While the teacher keep talking i put in my headphones  and started to listing  to a random band i think its my chemical romance anyways i put my head down waiting for this class to be over. A while and a few songs later i felt someone poking my back.

I turned my head to the direction into which scarlet was sitting and asked her 'What?'

'wake up lazy ass we have planning to do' she said

'what are you talking about? What planning?' i asked a little confused

'didnt you hear a word the teacher said? ' she aske in an annoyed way

'well no not really' i said sheepishly

'Okay then, we have to do a lab about velocity and speed.Heres your paper' she said while handing me a paper than had some instructions on it.I read it over quickly trying to get an idea what it is about.

'We have to do a series of races and take the time then calculate the speed and then the average speed' she explained to me

'Okay then when do we start? ' i asked

' Im guessing tomorrow because we have to bring  materials; can you bring measuring tape for tomorrow?' Scarlett asked

' hmm yeah sure i guess'
