 Hunter’s POV

When I opened the envelope it read…

Hey there!

I am going to do a short comical letter, I hate boring common letters they are just so plane, so here it goes nothing.

I am a smart ass, I could be a spy if would  want to, I hate sports with my every being because well I am suck at them, so that means that i am going to find you faster than you could find me. And yes that is a challenge. I am just kidding well maybe. I am a hyper, hormonal typical teenager that has a music band with crazy friends.

Guess who? Hmmm you will not find me in school as I said I have a good disguise in the school. So good luck and before I leave here is a stupid joke.

What says a door to another door?

‘Okay class you have 30 minutes to reply to your letters starting now.’ Miss. White announced

Okay Hunter think, what should I write back. This is stupid I barely communicate with people face to face how am I going to do it in a letter. Well this is great.

Hey whoever you are,

I guess I’ll keep telling you about myself. We’ll I’m not that very social at school don’t really have any friends or anything close to that at school. I do have one friend out of school his name is Jay he goes to school the next town over. I live with my little sister and my mom. I’m 18, I don’t really know what kind of job I would like in the future maybe a business man or maybe a lawyer I’m not sure.

You’re in a band that’s cool, what do you play? I have always wanted to be in one but that never happened I guess I don’t like the idea of being with allot of people at once I am  an antisocial person you can say. But I do play a few instruments like the guitar and the drums. Maybe if we find out who each other are I can hear your band play sometime. So this is all I can write this time.

 What does the door say?

Later

‘Okay class time is up hand in the letters.’ Miss. White said

 Walking towards my car at the end of the day I felt somebody poke my arm. When I turned around I saw that it was Scarlett.

‘What do you want?’ I asked in a bored tone

‘We have to do the lab today because tomorrow I will not be able to come to school’ she said

‘Sorry I can’t’ I said Jay is coming over today plus my mom works late ad I can’t leave Ellie alone

‘Well is settle then it would be at my place here is my number I will see you at five’ she said to me completely ignoring what I just said

‘If you didn’t hear me I said I can’t’

‘Sorry its today or today if I’m doing the lab alone I will make sure that your name is not in the paper and you get a zero’  Scarlett said  In a harsh way

I just gave her an annoyed look, maybe I can just cancel on Jay and call mom and tell her to come home earlier.

 ‘Address’ I said giving in

Scarlett got out a piece of paper and handing it to me and walked away.

I got into my car and called my mom first to tell her to come home earlier which she agreed to. Now for the hard and annoying part Jay.

‘Hello this is Jay!’ He answered

‘Jay, it’s me. Look you can’t come over today I have to go over to this girls place to do a project.’

‘What! I need get out of my house, you better not me bailing on me for just some chick, remember bros before hoes!’ He said

‘I know I know go call up your boyfriend and go on a date or something I don’t know but you can’t come to my house’ I said

‘Fine bye’ He said and hung up

Three hours later

 I walked up to the Scarlett house and knocked on the door

‘Hello, I guessing you are Scarlett friend right?’ The women who answered the door said

‘Hmm yes I guess we are doing a project together.’ I said

‘Ohh yes of course come in, I am Carol Scarlett mother; she is upstairs in her room you can go up it the first door to the left.’ Carol said

‘Okay ill head up’ I mumbled while heading towards the stairs.

When I got to the room Scarlett was singing while I’m guessing doing homework, I just stood by the door waiting to see if she notices I’m there. I stepped inside the room and she said

‘Mom I am finishing give me a second okay’ and keep on singing after about  three minutes she put her stuff back and turn around noticing I was there

‘For how long have you been there?’ she asked nervously

 ‘Long enough’ I replied with a small smirk

‘Oh god just… forget you ever heard me’ she muttered

 I was about to speak when she cut me off

‘How did you get in here?’

‘Your mom let me in’ I said

‘I swear this woman is crazy’ she whisper not so silently

‘Nah she is cool’ I said

We just stared at each other for seconds before I said

‘We should do the lab I have better places to be.’

Good going Hunter way too be rude I thought to myself

And with that we started the lab.
