We were both shocked. I stared at Javier as he stared at me.

Javier's mouth widened and started to mutter, "I am not imppressed, Sagi."

The cowgirl chuckled. "Why, because I disturbed you and your novia?"

Javier looked embarrassed.

"S-she, um, l-let's go Fortùna, I have to bring Hacheta back to the stable."

We walked to the stable in silence. Javier didn't seem like he was going to speak a word, so I started the conversation.

"Can you explained to me, what is going on?"

He sighed. He began with a simple sorry for brought his problem to me.

"She is my old best friend, at least until she confessed her love to me."

I gasped. "You hated her, because she liked you?!"

I was scared to the bones---if he hated someone for that she confessed her feelings to him, and I did too.

Did that mean he hate me?

- Javier's POV -
Oh no, she must has been thinking that I might hated her.

"N-no, it is not like that---it was because she told everybody that we were more than friends, but that was not true."

She sighed as a relief. "Oh, I see."

That was close. I took off hacheta's saddle and her briddle as we entered the stable.

She loved it for sure.

Fortùna watched me from my left side. She was still sitting on top of Spirit.

It didn't take long.

After I finished, she waved a goodbye to Spirit. The wild mustang trotted back to his herd as soon as Fortùna turned her head to me.

I watched everything.

She chuckled.

I smiled at her. "Vamonos, Fortùna. Buenos noches, Hacheta!"

Fortùna followed me and walked by my side. I held her hand.

We both blushed, but she didn't let go anyway. So, why did I need to?

The night was cold, but I felt warm just by her side.

"So, why is this Sagi following you?"

"As we stopped being friends, she wanted to be my rival. She will try to beat me in everything," I answered.

"Trickriding?"

I nodded. "Everything!"

"That must be exhausting," she replied. Her voice sounded real cute

"Yup," I nodded approvingly.

We walked for five minutes to her house, in a more comfortable silence.

"Lucky, do you mind if Javier and Sagi stayed in you room?" Jim Prescott asked to his daughter for her approval.

I was excited to think about staying in one room with my ninã, but, with Sagi?

I didn't like the idea.

Lucky stared at me, she seemed puzzled. I nodded at her, giving her a sign to just accept it.

"That sounded great, father!" She answered.

Stay calm, Javi.

You still had Fortùna at the very least.
