Episode 9

       After picking up Seungmin from school, they arrive at their house. Wooseok locks the door and Seungmin sits on the couch. Wooseok sits across from his on the other side.

Wooseok: "How was your day?"

Seungmin: "Oh, it was fine." *tries smiles at Wooseok* "And how was your day yesterday? Was it nice to work with Noona?"

Wooseok: *starts blushing* "No-" *stops blushing and clears his throat* "Forget about that, something happened yesterday and it's my fault. We need to go back to Grandma as soon as possible!"

Seungmin: "What happened?"

Wooseok: "So- I- Uh- Kissed Jieun-"

Seungmin: "Awww!"

Wooseok: "It won't be 'awww' for long because the pink flower petals fell down in public."

Seungmin: "Isn't that good? She is the right person for you."

Wooseok: "That's not it, the whole public saw the flower petals falling from the sky!"

Seungmin: "Oh no, what do we do? How do we visit Grandma?"

Wooseok: "We can use the mirror as a portal, the one in your bedroom. First, we need to lock all of the doors, close the windows and blinds, and make everything dark so that nobody will see us. It's risky but we need to find Grandma."

Seungmin: *nods* "Alright, Hyung."

            Both rush to lock the doors, close the windows, close the blinds, and to make everything dark. As Wooseok was closing the window in the kitchen, he heard a giggle of a woman. He immediately froze and spoke without turning around.

Wooseok: "Seungmin-ah?"

Seungmin: *shouts from across the living room* "Hyung, did you call me?"

Wooseok: "Yes, did you hear a giggle right now?"

Seungmin: "No."

Wooseok: "Oh, it was probably just my mind."

         He ignores it for 5 seconds until the giggle can be heard again by both siblings this time. Wooseok turns around and gulps. Seungmin also turns around and his heart beating fast.

Seungmin: "I heard that. Hyung, I'm scared."

Wooseok: *immediately walks over to Seungmin and hugs him warmly*

Wooseok: "I will never let anything bad happen to you."

       The giggle appears again but only this time louder and it sounded like a little girl's voice mixed with a demon's voice. Wooseok's arms were still wrapped around Seungmin. He removes them but holds Seungmin's hand. He slowly turns around and sees a scary-looking creature with messy black hair covering her eyes and she wore a white dress covered with stained blood. Seungmin's gulps as the creature show her sharp, yellow teeth and shake her head revealing her beady little black eyes.

         The creature is about to attack them by jumping but they dodge and run upstairs hand-in-hand. Once they reach Seungmin's bedroom upstairs, Wooseok taps on the mirror while imagining that he is in the forest, their home. Using his free hand, he holds it to the mirror and light shoots out. He stops and touches the mirror. The creature is right behind them, ready to attack.

            As soon as the creature attempts to capture them, the portal took them to the forest. They are still hand-in-hand but only this time, they are surrounded by nature. Green trees, flowers, grass, deer surrounded them. A deer walked over to Seungmin and started snuggling him. Seungmin giggled and pet the deer, Wooseok smiled at the two and he felt relieved being back home.

            After petting the deer, they started walking straight until they saw an old lady sitting on a rocking chair, playing a song on the Ukulele. Her back was facing the two siblings and Wooseok walked up to her, still holding Seungmin's hand.

Wooseok: "Grandma, it's me and Seungmin. We're back."

Grandma: *turns around and smiles* "You're home." *tries to get up but she can't*

Seungmin: *goes over to her and hugs her*

Wooseok: *hugs her as well*

Grandma: *hugs both of them* "I'm so glad that you're here again." *breaks the hug* "I'm so happy that both of you are here but what happened in the human world?"

Wooseok: "Uh..." *scratches the back of his neck* "There is a creature going after us and I kissed a human which caused pink flower petals to fall down. Now everyone knows that the powerful still exist. I don't think that we're safe anymore."

Grandma: *nods and turns to Seungmin* "Seungmin-ah, come here."

Seungmin: *walks to his Grandma*

Grandma: *grabs a leaf from under her chair*

[A leaf is used to heal anybody who is hurt.]

Seungmin: "Grandma, why the leaf? I'm not hurt."

Grandma: "Didn't I raise you to never lie?" *rolls up his sleeve revealing a bruise on his wrist from Junbaek*

Wooseok: *looks at Seungmin with angry eyes* "Who did this to you?"

Seungmin: *looks down and stays silent*

Grandma: *talks as she wraps the leaf on Seungmin's wrist* "I've been watching both of you. I know what's going on."

Wooseok: "Then why didn't you help?"

Grandma: *glances at Wooseok before looking back at the leaf on Seungmin's wrist* "I can't do everything for you the rest of your life. One day I won't be there so you need to learn to be independent, both of you."

        Seungmin's heart hurts at her mentioning that she won't be there one day. What scares him more is that he won't be there one day.

Seungmin: *watery eyes* "Grandma, I don't like talking about that. I don't want you to go."

Grandma: *looks at Seungmin and smiles* "Everyone has to one day, it's life. But remember that I will always be there in your heart. It's a fact of life and we can't escape it."

Seungmin: *starts crying softly*

Wooseok: *hugs Seungmin* "You'll be alright, just don't think of it now. You'll be alright, just don't think about the future. Okay?"

Seungmin: *nods and sniffs*

Grandma: "Are you ready, Seungmin-ah? I need to heal your bruise."

Seungmin: *nods* "Yes, Grandma."

Wooseok: *steps back*

         The Grandma starts placing her hand on top of the leaf while singing a tune from the old days. Her voice sounded so beautiful as if she was a 20-year-old woman. The leaf started to glow until she was done with the song. The leaf disappeared as soon as the song finished and she removed her hand. Seungmin's bruise was gone.

Grandma: *giggles* "All better?"

Seungmin: *smiles* "Yes!" *hugs her* "Thank you!"

Grandma: "You're welcome, my boy." *hugs him back*

Grandma: *breaks the hug after a while and looks at Wooseok* "Wooseok-ah, about that girl."

Wooseok: "Oh..." *looks down* "I'm sorry."

Grandma: "Don't be. She is the one for you, please trust her. She is a good person, she will keep your secret. She is the one."
