"Alastor."

Alastor looked up from his book to see Mimzy by the kitchen doorway. He was currently situated in the main room with nothing but the soft and comforting music from the record player to accompany him and his thoughts. Alastor moved to put his book away after marking it, "what is it, my dear?" He inquired with his usual smile greeting her. Usually Mimzy wouldn't have come to him if she didn't have anything to gush about. Mimzy had a look between desperation and concern, "we need to talk."

Alastor straightened, "oh? What about?"

"It's not your average cup of tea kind of talk, Alastor. This is about Angel Dust."

At the mention of his name, Alastor's brows shot up curiously and surprised. "What about him?" Mimzy glanced from her left to the right then sighed, she approached him warily and sat on the empty space beside him on the loveseat. "I'm afraid... I have bad news." She finally breathed out, her eyes from him to the carpeted floor below her. Alastor was silent as he only stared at her with a blank look. "I... Beg your pardon?" He began, tilting his head in confusion. Alastor honestly did not know where this was leading, but one thing is for certain, he wasn't going to like anything that come out after. Mimzy didn't answer at first. She didn't know how to. It wasn't like she was going to start bursting like a broken dam just like that, she needed to weight her words carefully. She finally grabbed what was left of her confidence and stared up at him. Alastor could see the determination burning within those magenta orbs, but her uncertainty was quite blatant.

He silently stared back in amusement, his smile settling for a reassuring one. Although, it might not be obvious but Mimzy could see that he was trying. "I don't think he'll make it..." Mimzy forced her words out her throat in an attempt to sound firm but in the end it came out in a whisper. Alastor heard her clear as day and yet he was still confused. A nervous laugh rippled out in the uncomfortable silence between them. "Mimzy, I'm afraid I... I don't know what you're on about, my dear."

Mimzy huffed in exasperation, she could feel her nonexistent heart itching in annoyance. "Alastor, are you deaf? I'm saying that Angel might not be able to make it!" She tried again, waving her arms in the air. "Might not make it? To the picture show? I wasn't aware that he was in-"

"No you bloody fool! What I'm trying to- UGHHHH! Angel's leaving for a suicide mission and he might not make it back!"

Alastor was taken aback by her sudden outburst. He let her words slowly sink in, "... Suicide mission?" Mimzy nodded, "and this concerns me because...?" Alastor drawled warily. "Because..." She repeated, "he is going against Seraphs..."

Alastor blinked, "alright?"

Mimzy gaped at him in disbelief, "alright? Alright?! What is wrong with you?!"

"Mimzy, darling, I don't quite understand why-"

"Alastor have you lost your bonkers?! He's your friend!"

"He was more of a decent acquaintance actually."

"But he's still an ally, is he not?!"

"I'd say a useful compatriot!"

Mimzy groaned, "I can't believe this!" She immediately stood up and stomped out f the room. The sound of her heels resonated around the room walls until it disappeared into the next room. Alastor did nothing but stare at the empty space that she had occupied beside him. Strange as it is, this was the first time Mimzy had ever expressed her concerns and frustration. Especially, towards him. Shaking his head to clear his now flooding thoughts, he grabbed his book from the coffee table and walked upstairs into his bed chambers leaving the music player still playing in the background. Once he was in his comfort zone, he went to grab over to his massive bookshelf to return his book to its rightful place and went for another. He had read the book nearly 3 times now, he had no reason to continue. After grabbing a choice of his taste, he turned to his armchair which sat in the far end of the corner next to an untouched fireplace. He didn't quite get why there would still be one in Hell but he rather not question it to Charlie.
