"Papa! Papa!"

Alastor gazed down at the toddler, pulling the ends of his trousers persistently. Wanting to steal her father's attention who was too preoccupied with the shadows on the walls, telling him that letting his ex-husband into his house was a GREAT idea now that the subject of mock is right there giving them full advantage to drag their boss down, that he didn't realized the little gremlin slipping out of her high chair and scrambled her way to him. If she didn't look like a tasty morsel at the moment, he would've found her round mismatched eyes and floofy polka dotted ears endearing. Although, others would think that she resembled more like him.

A cannibal.

With her small but also terrifying canines shining gold and her tiny but also deadly pitch black claws, no doubt that this child could demolish anyone who stands in her way. Even if it meant devouring her victims into a bloody mess. Unlike her brother, Angelo had more poise and is very well-mannered in front of his superiors. But his social skills were a lot like the Arachnid, brash and loud. Fortunately, he hasn't gained the other's vulgar tongue or else the demons who cackles within grey walls would jump at the chance to taunt him further. Just because he manipulates them doesn't mean they don't have a mind of their own.

"Papa! Cawwy!" The child demanded, she tried to climb on to his leg with as much effort and strength she could muster but every move she made deemed useless when she inevitably slides back down to the floor fruitlessly. Half of the demons in Alastor's head was telling him to kick her aside and let her bawl her eyes out until they bleed red, but the half was mercilessly taunting him for being the worst parent ever and that he was better off without a family in the first place. Pushing the voices all the way to the back of his head, he bend down to pick the poor girl up and into his lap. "My dear, how did you manage to slip out of your chair?"

Halo looked up at him with an innocent look for a long moment. And like the snap of a finger, the child blinked out of existence. Alastor jolted in shock, his eyes widen in panic. He felt sweat began to pool nervously on the side of his head, he jumped out of his seat to crawl under the table where he was certain she was located. But he was met with the unimpressed look on Angel's face when the two made eye contact under the table. "Relax. She's got teleportation skills. She doesn't go far without me." As if on cue, the sound of loud banging was heard above the table. Alastor pulled back to see the child peering down at him with a drooled smile. Her hands slapping playfully on the surface and her round cheeks were dusted in light pink. She giggled gleefully at her father's weird expression, she reached out once more to him with grabby hands. Angel sat back in his chair to observe them carefully.

Alastor complied in a daze, taking her back in his arms. His face slowly shifted into a more softer and fonder look, "you're growing up to be quite as dangerous as your daddy." Angel snorted at that, but there was no mistaking the blush on his face as he thought of a different topic.

"Angelo's the one who'll be taking my side."

"I doubt it."

"Shut up and eat your damn food kid."

"Spagetti... Ugh" Angelo grunted, pushing his plate away. The meatballs were long gone and what's left is that yellow noodles in his plate bathing in Prego sauce, which he claims looking like as if it had came from a victim's insides. "You never know if  it's bad if you haven't tried it yet."
