After the war, California turned into a ruin. Unpredictable things happen constantly. To prevent any more deaths, any teen who turns to 16 is sent over the 'border' for a solid month to train and learn how to survive. Abigail Lee, who just turned to 16 is scared, nervous, terrified. Unpredictable things happen-accidents, attacks, undiscovered animals, death......and love.

"Who are you?" I spoke, my voice clearly trembling. I never thought I will encounter another human, or at least it looked like one.
"It's not important"
He walked towards me. His face was dirty, his clothes wrinkled and his knees all scrunched up and bleeding, but his green eyes managed to sparkle.
I tried to speak, but nothing came out of my mouth. I was either scared or some other feeling that I couldn't explain in words.
"But, the important thing is-are you my enemy or an ally?" He raised his gun towards me.
