Pokémon: the quest for adventure

Battle Training Time

-the administrator then called the first battlers-
"Liam and Dan enter the arena."  Both of them walked into the arena and Cinder walked to its place, looking back at Liam. He gave Cinder a reassuring smile "we got this Cinder, now give it your all!!" Dan sent out mudkip, it walking to its place. The a Administrator walked to the judging podium. "The battle will start on go. Ready. Set. Go battle!" With no hesitation Cinder rushes forward. "Use tackle!" It tackles the mudkip and it moved back. "Water gun." The Mudkip hit Cinder with a strong watergun, knocking him off his feet. Cinder got up and charged at the mudkip, hitting it with another tackle. "Mudkip now!" Dan yelled, the mudkip jumped up and fired a water gun, it then charged forward and used a tackle. "C-cynda..." Cinder fell back and fainted. "The opponents Pokemon is unable to battle, the victory goes to Dan." Dan then sent mudkip back into its Pokéball and smiled. "Guess you lose." Dan said laughing. Liam sighed and sent Cinder back. "You did good Cinder, we gotta try harder next time that's all!" "Yeah sure~ maybe thaaat will help! Haha! Seya later lameo!" Dan then walked off laughing as Liam  looked down sad. Morgan ran up to him and hugged him tight. "Hey it's alright, I know you can beat his smug butt next time!" She said smiling. "Y-yeah..thanks." They walked back to the seats and snacked on chips and chocolate. A lady walked over, it looked to be a nurse. "Excuse me dear, may I have your Cyndaquil to heal." "Yes of course!" He gave her the ball and she put it on the machine. "You should be careful. If you don't heal your Pokémon quickly, it may eventually not wake up." When she said that Liam started to shake, worrying that it might happen. He shook off the thought and watched the rest of the battles. Soon it was Morgan's turn. She walked to the arena and Liam cheered "You can do it Morgan, I believe in you!!" With that she confidently sent out Blair, which Trotted around her. The opponent then walked up to the arena and flicked her hair to the side. "Whatever. Let's get this over with." She said with a sigh. "You must be Leah!" "Yeah, what of it?" "N-nothing, lets just battle." Leah sent out a Squirtle. "Squirtle Squirt!" " alright lets show them who's boss!" Morgan said to Blair with a grin. "Fen Fen!" Blair got ready for the signal. "Three. Two. One. Battle!" As the administrator said that the squirtle rushed forward and went into its shell. "Blair dodge it!" She jumped up and evaded the attack. "Alright now tail whip!" Blair used tail whip and the squirtle's defense was lowered. "Scratch!" She used scratch and hit it once, the squirtle hit Blair with a tackle attack. "Alright blair! Just one more scratch!" The two Pokémon and rushed at each other, squirtle used tackle and Blair used Scratch. When they hit each other a big cloud of dust puffed up and completely concealed them. As soon as the dust faded the two trainers rushed to the Pokémon and saw that they both were fainted. "Well good battle Leah!" She reached out to shake her hand as Leah moved back. "Yeah whatever. Just get out of my way." Leah picked up the squirtle and walked off to the nurse. "So well for being nice.." Liam surprise hugged her, resulting in a squeal. "You did awesome Morgan!" "I-it was nothing really." The crew then walked Blair to the nurse and gave her the Pokémon. "Alright dear, they should both be good by the end of the day." "Seya then miss, thanks for the help." Liam said with a grin. "I'm happy to help dear." They walked to their seats and watched the rest of the battles.
