VII (Pt.2)

Hyejoo POV

"Who are you? Why are YOU knocking my door?!"

"Are you Yerim's da-" Chaewon tried to ask the man in front of the door.

"GO! Or I'll call the police!" He yelled

"I'm sorry if we disturbed your privacy, but do you know a girl named Choi Yerim, 19?" Hoseok asked

"Yes... that's my step-daughter. Why do you want her? She can't see boys! Get out of my house , you pervert! Go!" Yerim's stepdad slammed the door. We stood there and we heard a voice, like from a phone.

*static* The kids are not going with you anymore! What you did was absolutely disgusting! You know what? I'm calling the police! *static beep beep*

Hoseok, Chae and I looked at eachother. Hoseok infront of the door, Chaewon on the sidewalk and me on the stairs. We nodded like we read each others minds and went to stop Yerim's dad to escape from the police. From what we heard, her step-dad had mistreated her and her brother. He couldn't get away with this.

We heard some loud footsteps coming from inside the house. Then a loud clack clack clack from the door, Yerim's stepdad was trying to open the door. We all pushed the door so that he couldn't get out.

"You stupid kids! Let go of the door!!" He yelled and yelled.

"You little kids won't get out, heh?" The man murmured. We looked at eachother one last time. We heard various clicks.

"Uh oh...." Hyejoo said walking backwards

BANG!!!

Yerim POV

I put on a towel and walked out of the bathroom. I looked for some pijamas, put them on and decided to turn on the tv. The news came on and I opened my eyes.

Breaking News: 33 years old man injured a 20 years old boy, the other two girls in the scene were not injured. The boy was taken to Incheon Central Hospital, accompanied by the two girls. This was Breaking News, News 10...

My eyes watered. Hoseok... Jiseong had shot him. Hyejoo and Chaewon were with him. But why were they there? Shoot! I hadn't said anything! I hadn't answered texts, calls... so they went to look for me... and Jiseong hurt them. I'm so stupid!

"M-mom! Take me to the hospital! Hoseok got shot! P-please let me go m-mom!" I said while crying. My mom hugged me and called Taehyung to come down. We got in the car and drove there. I slammed the car door and ran to the hospital.

"In what r-room is Jung Hoseok? I have to s-see him!" I asked the receptionist. "1st floor, room 95, miss..." She said

"Thank you!" I ran as fast as I could. When I opened the door to the corridor, I saw in the distance a black haired girl, and a blonde girl, sitting together.... Hyejoo and Chaewon!

"HYEJOO! CHAEWON!" I yelled as I ran towards them. They looked at me in amazement. They both screamed my name and we hugged together. Chaewon started to cry and Hyejoo said:

"OH MY GOSH YERIM! WHERE THE FUCK WHERE YOU?!? YOUR DAD IS AN ASSHOLE BY THE WAY!" She hugged me even more hard.

"I escaped from Jiseong and went to live with my mom! I wanted to have some time alone so I had turned off my phone.... if i hadn't been so stupid, Hoseok wouldn't.... HOSEOK! Is he ok?!" I covered my mouth as I started sobbing.

"His condition is very stable but it will take time for him to recover. The bullet went into his kidney...." Chae said while sitting in a bench. "The doctor said it would take him like a month."

"Your step-dad is a madman. He did that to us because we didn't want to leave. We thought you were in there, so we kept ourselves in front of the door. He kicked the door and shot Hoseok, making him fall from the balcony. It was a relief that Chae was in the sidewalk or Hoseok would have his head broken. He escaped and the police are trying to find him now. I'm sure he won't get out of this, Yerim..." Hyejoo hugged me one more time.

The doctor came out of the room.

"How is Hoseok?! Please tell us!" I said to the doctor.

"We extracted the bullet out of his body. It wasn't so bad but it will take time to heal. Hoseok is very fine." The doctor spilled at us and we jumped of happiness.

"Can I go see him?" I asked the doctor. He nodded and opened the door for me.

Hoseok was laying on the stretcher. His eyes were closed, and his hands were on the sides of his body, with tubes and medical thingies. I sat beside him and touched his hair.

"I'm sorry Hoseok... this wouldn't have happened to you..... I'm so sorry! I'm so stupid, why would I ignore you? I don't know why I would want to have some time alone.... I- gosh.. I.... love you, Hoseok..."

My tears started to fall and I rested my head on Hoseok's arm. The nurse came into the room and said to me to leave the room. I kissed Hoseok's forehead and walked out.

7:27pm (2 hours later)

"Hey, Yerim... did you eat?" Chae asked me

"I ate in the morning and ate a sandwich as lunch, so...no, I haven't had dinner."

"Well, let's go eat something!" Char stood up

I sighed and went with Chae to eat some dumplings. Hyejoo was already there and had ordered the food.
When we were in the middle of our feast, Hyejoo got a call from her work.

"Miss Son Hyejoo! Why are you not working?! You are supposed to be here like 1 hour ago!" Kim Jiwoo said through the phone.

"Uh.. well, miss Kim... my, uh.... grandpa had a heart attack! Yes, and he.. uh, well... I'm in the hospital so I can't go work! Yes... he had a heart attack..." Hyejoo said trying to let out a laugh.

"Oh... well, my condolences... next week, you go to work, ok?! Good Night, miss Hyejoo!"

"Good night to you too..." Hyejoo said and cancelled the call. Chaewon and I started laughing at Hyejoo non-stop.

"What?! I had to come up with something!"

We laughed and laughed until we couldn't breath.

"Hey, I'll walk again to the hospital.... I'm staying with him, ok?" I told the girls.

"Yeah, sure! We'll tell your mom! Bye, Yerim!"

I walked back to the hospital and sat beside Hoseok the whole night....

This two-part chapter is over! Now, I will keep on with the single chapters. I'm thinking of a two-part finally too! Thanks for everyone who is reading this story!
