"K-Kim Jiwoo?!" I ask the business woman in front of me. Chaewon and Yerim both look surprised too.
"Yes, me.... I've seen you somewhere..."
"Of course, Jiwoo! We were together in Elementary! You were in 6th grade! We played in recess! Don't you remember?"
"Let me think......... no. Keep working, I have to get my nails done and buy some anniversary gift for my wife."
"Wife?!" All three of us yelled, making everyone in the cafe look at us with judging faces.
"Her name is Sooyoung. We got married as soon we got out of university.... Changing of topic, Hyejoo is it? Get to work and stop asking about my personal life, would you?"
"Y-Yes, ma'm" I quickly went over to the counter and started taking orders...
It's was already 8:00pm so I decided to finish my first day of work.
"You did a great job, Hyejoo!" Yerim five-highed me.
"And my smoothie was sooo good! You make the best smoothies!" Chaewon said while opening the door to her house. "Yerim, you can stay if you want.. we can have a sleepover!"
"Oh... no, thanks... I have to go pick up my sister from karate so, see ya in school! Bye!" Yerim waved as she walked away. Chaewon and I ran to Chae's room and we threw ourself into her bed.
Chaewon POV
Hyejoo and I spent the time of our lifes! We sang karaoke, ate a lot of midnight snacks and all of the sudden, Hyejoo felt the urge to sleep, which was understandable because she had detention, she cleaned and worked. I took Hyejoo to bed and watched her sleep, which was very creepy to do from a friend, but I don't bother and possibly Hyejoo either.
"Goodnight, Hyejoo..." I said as I started to get sleepy on the side of the bed, body on the floor. 3 minutes more and we were deeply sleeping.
The next morning...
"Chae! Chaewon! Cha Cha! Butterfly! Wake up! Up up up! Lalalalalalaaaa! Hey Chae! PARK CHAEWON WAKE UP!" Hyejoo screamed in my ear, making me jump. I hit her and she fell of the bed. We started laughing until our chests hurt. I crawled towards her, but she grabbed my arm and caused me to slip, hitting my shoulder. I yelped. She helped me stand up and put me on my bed. Hyejoo ran to my kitchen and came back with an ice packet.
"Hyejoo, it doesn't hurt that much.. why do yo-"
"Shut up! I made you slip and I have to make you feel better, even if it doesn't hurt! It was my fault!" Hyejoo put the ice and kept it there on my shoulder. I rolled my eyes at Hyejoo's attempt to keep me safe.
"Hey, stop it! Let's go to the beach or even better! Shopping! C'mon, it doesn't hurt anymore!" I stood up and started throwing clothes to make her change of those hideous black clothes.
"Fine...." Hyejoo took a white T-Shirt with a black crop-top on top of it, some black leggings and her converse. I put on a nice white blouse with a pink skirt and some boots. Stylish boots of course!
When we walked out of my room, my mom was waiting for us in the table with a delicious breakfast.
"Eat while I get ready to go shopping!" My mom said while walking out the kitchen
"Did you hear we were planning on going shopping!?" I asked
"I may or may not have heard your conversation?" She giggled and so did we.
When we were ready, my mom turned on the car and she drove us to Incheon Central Mall.
"Chaewon! Let's go to GameLand! I heard that MicroStuff launched today Seesaw: The XX theories Pt.2! Oh, please let's go there!" Hyejoo said like she was a ten year old making tantrums in a toy store.
"Fine, I'll buy it for you if you buy something for me!" I snickered And waited for Hyejoo response... of course she would said yes!
Hyejoo ran to the store, looking at every game, controllers, pins, accessories but I reminded her I was going to buy the game only. She decided to buy thing with her own money.
When we went to buy my gift, I chose food bc why not? Hyejoo bought me food at Panda Express and then we ate a shared ice cream cone. We went to a lot of stores. Hyejoo insisted to go to the Game Out section so we went there. We made bets and of course, I lost. I loved being with Hyejoo, this date is going so.... wait! No, no it's not a date? It's just me and my friend, buying gifts for eachother...... normal right?
"Hey Chae! Let's go to the photobooth!" Hyejoo said as she pulled me to the photobooth. We put on some hats and accessories and took the photos!
The photos turned out very pretty! We left the mall and headed home to eat more! My dad was making a barbecue so we all ate in the beach, having a good time.....
I know this chapter is a bit short because I am currently remodeling my house so I wrote this to get it done. ANyWAyS, I have a bonus surprise for you guys!
