You and Jonah had been best friends for as long as you could remember. You had went through school together up until the day he left for LA. It broke your heart to watch him go, he was your best friend. The good thing was that you still were close to his family and texted with him all the time. His parents just lived down the road from you, that is until they moved.
Jonah and Why Don't We had blown up in the last year and he was doing very well for himself. He decided to move his parents closer to him and bought them a lake house in California. He has even Facetimed you to show you the house before buying it.

It was perfect.
They were thrilled and you were happy for them. But you were once again heartbroken. His family was like your family. In fact, you spent more time at their house than you did your own.
They moved before the school year started to adjust for Svea.
Time Skip
It was your spring break and you were desperate to see Jonah and his family. Jonah had called you last night and asked you to spend your spring break in California. He was going to take a week of family time and head up to the lake. He bought your ticket and made arrangements to pick you up.

Here you were in a car with Jonah. It was a sweet reunion at the airport and you couldn't help but cry when you saw him. You talked almost the whole way to the lakehouse about the band, music, and school. He missed you and was really happy you had come to visit.
You pulled up the drive of the lake house. You were stunned it was beautiful. Outside on the swing was Svea. She saw the car and started sprinting toward it. You had Jonah stop and you hopped out. She ran into your arms and you hugged and cries on her. She cried too. You walked hand in hand to the house. You stepped inside and were met with the rest of Jonah's family. You felt like you could breath again. This was your family.
Jonah took your stuff up the stairs to the guest room. But you stayed downstairs and took in the beautiful house.
