*Sweetheart?... Sam? are you okay?* You heard a familiar deep voice as you stirred.

"S-...Sans?" You said, holding your head. What happened?" You asked, rubbing your sore head.

Alphys puts two fingers on your wrist, "W-well... Your heart rate has gone down... That's a g-good sign. You blacked out after one of my bowls shattered on the floor. What did you see before you p-passed o-out?"

You thought for a minute, some pain returning to your head, "My Father... And pain... A lot of it..." You looked down, but felt a bony hand gripping on to yours.

Looking up to the owner, Sans had a reassuring smile across his teeth, * remember what I said, Sweetheart? you don't have to go back to you him.*

"Y-You promised, r-right?" You questioned, visibly shaking at the thought.

*look at you, shaking like a leaf...* he said, a sad gaze across his cracked eye sockets, *you won't Sweetheart, I'll make sure of it, you won't see that man again.*

Alphys looked sad, wiping the sweat from her head, "W-Well... I-It doesn't take a d-d-doctor to see what's wrong..." She sighed, "I've only heard some things... B-But It seems like you h-have PTSD."

You sniffled, before you noticed a tear you didn't even know came out, "What's t-that?"

"I-It stands for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It happens when you've received trauma over a long period of time. Th-There is other ways of getting it, to, but I'm not going to go over that now... A-Anyways, do you feel... On edge? Like... S-Something might happen?"

You nodded, barely speaking your words, "All the time..."

She lowered her head as she saw you clench your stomach, as a cramp passed by, "O-Oh... It might be a little more severe than I thought... H-How about nightmares, any nightmares at all?"

You heart beats faster as though you ran a marathon, which most of your nightmares involve... Him...

She sighed at your silence, "Are you... Depressed?"

You nodded, still sitting quietly, "Yes... I was very unstable after Mom died... I-... I tried something... Unthinkable... That was one of the few times my dad showed love to me..." A long silence followed my words, I closed my eyes, taking in a sharp breath.

After a minute, you found Sans with his arms around you, *Sweetheart, hey, there's no need to cry...* When did you start crying, again? *everything will be fi-*

"There was... Something else... That happened..." You said with a bleak expression, staring off into space.

"Huh?" They all toned in unison.

"What? What else could happen?" Undyne asked.

You looked her in the eye, "My dad had a roommate, I can't remember his name now... For the life of me. But I also remember me being left in his care when dad would go out... He would leave, For a long time. His roommate would..." You breath, feeling Sans tensed up around me, "He would... Do things to me."

Undyne and Alphys's jaws dropped, they obviously know what you meant, which was good, 'cause you didn't want to go into detail.

Alphys gave a worried frown, "O-Oh... S-Sans... I-I was going to ask for another s-small test... But I don't know if I c-can now..."

*why not?* He questioned.

"W-Well, I don't kn-know if her soul can withstand it. I just wanted to test to see what trait her soul has, I'm sure the orange half is Bravery, but I'm not sure about the Purple half... It could be Perseverance, but it's too... Pink."
