Eunji sat on her bed and starred up at the ceiling. Her thoughts wandering from Jae,the curious boy she hadn't seen since last week at the café who she finally learned the name of, and her parents who had even though they kicked her out of the house continued to give her large sums of money. She may may have been thinking about her parents who kicked her out as soon as she graduated as if they couldn't wait to get rid of her. But if it was even possible, she was thinking of Jae more. He was just so mysterious and charming Eunji just needed to know more. She was getting so impatient, waiting for the day that she would see him again. She was hoping that next time she saw him she could get him phone number or something like that. She sighed for what seemed like the millionth time,feeling restless, got up from her bed and grabbed her shoulder bag. She opened the door of her apartment and went outside heading to the café. She passed the trees where she had talked to Jae a week ago. She passed the beautiful park that she wanted to go to sometime. Eunji scanned the park and noticed a familiar figure sitting cross legged under a tree, tuning his guitar. Eunji's heart stopped as she came to the quick realization that that was Jae.
«☕️» Jae's POV/Author's POV but Jae focused
Jae sat underneath a tree at the park across the café and tuned my guitar while thinking of that cute unusual girl that played the piano at the café that he played his guitar in. She seemed like such a character and as much as Jae was embarrassed to admit,he enjoyed the company and presence of Eunji. It made him feel warm and oddly enough,safe. Jae looked up from his guitar and was surprised to see Eunji walking torwards him at a sort of quickened pace. Jae chuckled to himself. "Haha just the person I was thinking of." Eunji reached him and to Jae's luck she hadn't heard what he said.
Eunji: So..Hi. Jae: Hi Eunji. Eunji sat next to him and stared into his eyes,drifting off. Jae: Hey Eunji Eunji didn't say anything but kept staring at Jae. Jae: Eunji,Eunji what's wrong? Eunji stayed silent Jae:EUNJI! Eunji jumped and blinked,looking back at Jae but this time not getting caught up in his facial features. Eunji: Oh uh sorry Jae: It's okay. I was a little concerned that's all.
Eunji blushed knowing that this was Jae's polite way of pointing out she was staring.
Eunji: So uhh do you maybe want to go down to the café with me and get a drink? Jae: Sure why not
Jae packed up his guitar and slung his case over his shoulder.

They walked to the café together and surprisingly had a lot in common.
Jae: So you started music when you were 6 too? what a coincidence. Eunji: yeah I first started out at quite an early age. What about you? Jae: I started playing music because I was bored and i never got the chance to really go outside much. Eunji: oh I'm sorry I didn't know that. Eunji: it's ok I got over it a long time ago. Eunji: But still... To be stuck inside your whole life? That must've been rough. Jae: Well yeah..uh..
Author's POV, Eunji Focused
Eunji and Jae reached the café and Jae opened the door and the tiny bell on the top of the door rang. Eunji and Jae stepped in and Jae awkwardly smiling allowing Eunji to go in front of him. There wasn't a line so Eunji stepped up to the front of the counter, hesitating before ordering a cold mocha.
Barista: So...an iced mocha?
Eunji got flustered and cleared her throat. Eunji never really liked coffee and this was her first time ever really ordering anything.
Eunji: oh yeah that's what I meant s-sorry aha. Barista: It's perfectly okay sweetie. Eunji: are you new? I haven't seen you around here before. Barista: no, I've actually been working here for about two months now. Eunji: oh well I'm the pianist who comes and plays sometimes. My name is Eunji and uh uh this is Jae!
Eunji scooted over so that Jay could order and introduce himself.
Jae: Hi, i'd like a cold mocha too.
Jae looked at Eunji and smiled.
Jae & Eunji: So, your name isss.. They looked at her nametag. Eunji & Jae: Sana? Sana: Yep!
Santa made their iced mochas and told them to enjoy their day.
Manager: Oh hi Eunji! Hey Jae! I didn't expect to see you both today! It's your free day why are you both here? Not that I'm complaining I enjoy your company. Both of you. I didn't expect both of you to be friends.. Jae:Well,we are! Eunji: it is sort of odd how we became friends though... Isn't it Jae? Haha.
Jae and Eunji sat down in the more secluded area of the café.
Jae & Eunji: So I hope this- Eunji: Oh sorry you go first. Jae: No you. Eunji just shook her head. Jae: So if this isn't asking too much... Could I get your phone number? Just maybe? Eunji: that's just what I was going to ask!! Jae laughed. Jae: Really? What a coincidence! Eunji: Here!
Eunji wrote her number on a napkin from the napkin dispenser on the counter and handed it to Jae. Jae: Thanks I'm going to write it in in right now so I don't forget. Eunji:Okay
Eunji got a text message from an unknown number and Eunji could tell it was Jay's number. She saved his contact and was about to name it "Jae" when she looked up at him and realized he looked like Chicken Little a bit. so she just laughed and without saying anything edited his contact name and saved it.
Jae: I'm not Chicken Little! He's dumb and a coward and I am not a coward! Plus, I don't even look like him! Eunji: Well maybe you aren't a coward but you do look like him. Jae: Hmm whatever you say weird pianist girl. Eunji: But it's true! Jae: yup what you said, totally.
Jae laughed, took his iced mocha and guitar case and stood up.
Jae: well I have to go now. Eunji: all right by Jae!! see you next week!!
Next week arrived and Eunji went to the park... But Jay never showed up...
