I sat in my den, napping, resting happily, while Neveah hopped over me and played with her brothers Ace, Dragon and Dagger. I heard mews" Cherub! The bad cat." As soon as I heard what Ace said, the kits already 8 months, I got right up. It was doom, I call Doom bad cat.
"What do you want old scoundrel!" I snap.
Doom hopped back. "Just checking on my little pregger kit." He growled.
I hissed. "Only reason you'd check on me is too kill me or take my kits and also, I am no kit!" I blurt.
He growled, "when the kits come, don't call for me like a coward just like your mum did for Bite!" He hissed and trotted out liked a prized possession.
Neveah looked up at me, fear in her eyes. "Did he hurt you Cherub?" She asked sweetly.
"No"
Neveah looked up at me, confusion his her little eyes, she hopped over to her mummy.
Empress looked down at her kit, "I gotta talk to Cherub, I'll be back sweetie" she Meowed.
I look up at Empress, feeling comfort as she padded to me. She sat down, Neveah playing with her brothers.
"Hun, just be proud, don't put yourself down. And be happy he was checking on you." She mewed as she groomed my pelt.
I snorted, "he has no reason to be in MY life"
