I woke up to sound of my annoying alarm. Not the greatest way to wake up, I would say. I growled, turned off my alarm, and wiped the sleep from my eyes.
"Another day of me just working my life away", I thought to myself.
I stood up and walked to my closet to grab my work clothes and head to the bathroom. I took of my pajamas and got into the shower.
After I finished my shower, I put on my work clothes and makeup. I was ready for the day.
I walked outside to check the temperature. I looked around and decided that it was a nice enough day to walk to work. It's only about a two and half minute drive in the first place and I did have an extra thirty minutes before my shift started anyways. I grabbed a light jacket, just in case it gets chilly after work when I walk back home.
I started my walk. The birds were chirping and flying around like they didn't have a single care in the world. They were free to do whatever they liked and it was so beautiful to watch them. I came across a Pink Dogwood Tree and Cherry Blossom Tree. They definitely caught my eyes, each one so beautiful and perfect in their own ways. The grass below them, covered in the pink petals. Such a magnificent sight to see before work.
I finally arrived to gas station, that I worked at, to begin my shift. I walked in with a big smile on my face and got straight to work. I stocked cups, lids, and straws at the soda and slushy machines as my morning work.
My manager walked over to give me the "okay" on taking register for the day. She knew how great I was at math and how much I enjoyed interacting with the customers. You never know who you're going to see or meet working at a gas station.
