The Park

I walked into the park without hesitation and went right towards the trees. They were much bigger and more beautiful close up. I decided to take a seat on the bench closest to the trees. I turned the flash on my phone camera on to take some decent pictures of the trees. The pictures didn't do the trees justice in how beautiful they actually are. In person, they are just extraordinary.

After I sat there, soaking in the all of the beauty, I noticed that it was now nine o'clock.

"I should start heading home before it gets too late", I thought to myself.

I stood up to start my walk back home, until I heard a slight rustle in the bushes behind me. I talked myself into believe that it was just a raccoon or maybe even a squirrel. I grabbed my phone to turn the flashlight on. I shined it towards the bushes behind me. Nothing. Relief flowed over me. I turned my flashlight off and put my phone back into my pocket.

I turned around to head back home, but I was surprised with a bag being roughly put over my head and someone grabbing a hold of me. They tied a rope around my body as I tried to scream for help. Someone quickly put their hand over my mouth, or what I thought was a hand covered with a glove. It turned out to be a rag covered with none other than chloroform.

I felt myself slowly calm down until I completely went unconscious.

They dragged my body, which was now laying lifeless, and threw it into the back seat of their car. They drove off hastily back to their house. They made sure to check their surroundings. No one was watching. No one at all.

One man grabbed my body and threw me onto his shoulder. He walked right into his house and threw me onto a bed in an extra room. The door had a lock on the outside so there was no way to unlock it from the inside. I was trapped and I didn't even know it yet. I was passed out in some random house, on a random bed, and I had absolutely no clue... yet.
