After Omar and Jerry left the room, I put my new clothes on. They fit perfectly. There was even a toothbrush, a hairbrush, deodorant, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and toothpaste included in the bag. I immediately went into the bathroom and turned on the shower. I took off my new clothes and jumped right in, I didn't even wait for the water to warm up. It didn't matter to me. Just feeling the water wash over me was the only feeling I needed.
Omar walked into the room and into the bathroom.
"You taking a shower, Princess?"
"Y...yeah, is it okay?"
"Oh yes, of course, Princess. That's why I included it in your bag. I thought that you would enjoy taking a shower. I'll be back when when you come out."
Omar walked out of the bathroom and out of the room. I listened closely to see if he would lock the door. I only heard one door shut. Did he actually only shut the bathroom door? Has he finally given me enough trust that he didn't even close the bedroom door?
I tried not to think too much about it because I actually wanted to enjoy taking a shower.
I finished my shower, put on my fresh clothes, and wrapped my hair into the towel. I grabbed the toothbrush and toothpaste and opened them. I brushed my teeth and then my hair. I let out a deep breath and looked at myself in the mirror.
"You did it. You finally gained trust. Maybe now they'll let you free." I thought to myself.
I opened the bathroom door and stood in front of my now beautiful view of the world. I stood there and soaked it all in. The birds flying around and the butterflies filling the sky. I decided to take a seat on the ledge and continue staring out.
Omar knocked on the bedroom door, I jumped and looked over at him. He was leaning against the door frame, staring at me. I looked at him nervously. He smiled and walked over to me. I kept my eyes on him. He sat on the floor behind me.
"Beautiful view, isn't it?" Omar asked.
"Very." I replied.
"I thought you'd like it. I hope you start to like being here at some point. You're free to roam the house as you wish. You're not allowed to leave without permission and I have to be with you."
The only thing I could think of to say was what I decided to go with. "Thank you."
Omar smiled. "Of course." He wrapped his arm around my shoulder. We stared out of the window together. I looked to very far right.
There stood the Pink Dogwood and Cherry Blossom trees.
