Original question: Describe how a family discussion brought about a happy outcome.
The house was eerily silent, except for the chirping sound of the birds, echoing across the tense walls of the house. Abba was tapping his feet impatiently against the ceramic floor. From the deep crease on his forehead and the dark bags concealing is bluish-grey eyes, one could easily see that he was deprived of sleep due to stress. On the other hand, Armaan was also waiting for the discussion to happen. Although a determined look plastered his features, his fear and worry was evident in his green eyes. After all, it was about Arina, the youngest and cherished child of the Khan Household.
Within a few minutes, there was a bell on the door, pulling everyone out from their trances. Swiftly, Armaan composed his posture. Abba greeted Uncle Abdullah and Aunt Fahmida. Finally, Omar Khan was greeted by a handshake and a brief cold exchange between the men. A deafening silence took on the room, until Abba cleared his throat to grab everyone's attention. The air around us became thin and tense, as everything was reduced to a mere whisper.
"Its without a doubt, what was done to Huzaifa's daughter was an unforgivable sin. My daughter left her stranded on the deserted island. A place filled with unknown men and woman, who could've harmed her", claimed Uncle Hamad, his voice tense and his head bowed down in guilt.
She was left alone to defend herself, and none believed her. And now he's here to claim his wife, seethed Armaan, his nostrils flaring with anger, whilst shooting daggers at Omar, who's face was devoid of any emotion.
"Its only Arina's decision to make now"
Omar's eyes instantly flickered upwards. His fists were bawled in anger, his jaw clenched, as if he was restraining himself to leash himself against him.
"Calm down sons", said Uncle Hamad patting Omar's shoulders.
Inhaling a sharp breath in, Omar stood up, his towering figure intimidating everyone.
" I respect everyone. But I'm not going to let any outsider decide my wife and I's relation., he said aiming the last part at Armaan. I married her, because I love her, not to leave her stranded one day. And if someone has the audacity to tear us apart, then do it", he yelled, sincerity and desperation laced his voice.
Simultaneously, Arina came down, only to come to a halt, as her gaze landed on Omar. Staggering backwards, Arina's face paled, before it was replaced with brimming tears. Ignoring everyone's blazing gaze, Omar scurried to engulf her in his embrace. She began sobbing uncontrollably.
After a brief silence, Uncle Hamad broke into a chorus of laughter, pulling the duo out from their trance.
"Well seems the couple have it all sorted out", Uncle Huzaifa claimed, gazing at her daughter lovingly, who was tinged as beetroot, and Omar who was equally flustered.
