"Hanie," Sofia says as she excitedly parts her wooden chopsticks. "BTS announced a surprise concert! Should we get some tickets? I really want to see them!"
Knowing full well I won't be able to make it I ask, "when?"
"The concert? Next month," she wipes the ramen soup off her mouth with her sleeve.
"I'll see," I smile lightly. I'm sorry Sof, I'll have to let you down this time.
BTS was not my style. And I would most likely be working in the morning anyway.
"By the way," Sofia continues. "What's up with that Wonwoo guy?"
My heart tingles a little with the sound of his name. "What about him?" I ask casually.
"He's cute," Sofia smirks.
I raise a brow at her.
She hardly ever commented on guy's looks.
"Do you like him?" I ask.
She doesn't answer and drinks the soup from her ramen instead.
"He's a nice guy." I say. "You want me to set you up?"
She tilts her head at me. "You don't like him?"
I can't not like him after all this time... but I know now that I can't make him mine. I have to think about what's best for me and what I truly want. I've been driving on the path of my dreams for as long as I can remember. I won't swerve onto a gravel that leads to nothing but the unplanned future. I'm sorry, Jeon Wonwoo.
"He's a really good friend. I think you'll like him." Now that I thought about it, they were actually quiet similar.
She finishes the last of her ramen, falls back onto her chair and lets out a big, satisfied sigh. "Nah, I'll leave it. Anyway, gotta blast. I'm already late for school."

Hansol barges into my room and flops onto my bed.
I try kicking him off. There was hardly any space for me. Let alone him as well.
"Stooooop," he whines as he slaps my leg away. He lays down and rests his head on my stomach.
"Why are you here? I wanna sleep."
He drops a pink envelope on my face. "Special delivery."
I hold the envelope up. From Wonwoo was written on the top left corner.
"He's too busy practicing for the All Star's trials to give it himself." Hansol says as he scrolls through his phone. "He's such a good player. You know you have to get asked to trial for that team?"
"Why didn't you get asked?" I tease.
He 'tsks'. "Are you excited to be the future girlfriend of a basketball star?"
"W-what?"
"Nothing," he chuckles. "The guy's living the dream. Most players from the All Star's team make it big you know. He's definitely going to get a career out of it."
I can't see Wonwoo the way everyone else sees him anymore. The role he feels the need to uphold is what's keeping him from reaching for his dream.
That was the difference between us. He sleeps to dream, while I lose sleep to fulfil mine.
I slowly tear open the envelope then took out what was inside.
A ticket?

BTS SURPRISE CONCERT
admits one

Kim Jerin aggressively barges into Sofia, causing her to drop her books.
"Oops, didn't see you there," Jerin says with a smirk.
The students around just stare as they walk by.
Sofia blows her fringe off of her eyes in annoyance as she kneels down to grab her books. You'll pay one day Kim Jerin.
Like it was a sign, the boy from class 3 appears over her. "Oh hey Sofia."
"Hi b-ball boy," Sofia says unbothered. She stands back up clutching onto her books tightly.
Wonwoo reaches into his pocket and hands her a pink envelope. "Give this to Haneul noona for me?"
Sofia takes the envelope. "What is it?"
Wonwoo grins and brings his face closer to hers. "A BTS concert ticket," he whispers.
Sofia's eyes widen. "How did you-"
Wonwoo pats her on the head. "I'll see you around."
