Wonwoo and I talked on the phone every night.
I hadn't seen him since the day he gave me his song, but he still communicated with me as much as possible.
"Noona," by now his voice was sleepy and worn out. "I think I've fallen for you."
I don't say anything.
"I tell you I like you everyday but, what about you? How do you feel about me?" With every word, his voice trailed off. He was obviously tired with all the basketball training he's putting himself through.
I badly wanted to be honest. I wanted to tell him that we could give us a shot, but at the same time, I couldn't. In the end it won't be worth it. I'll end up leaving with both of us being hurt. It's a waste of feelings, I thought. Better now than later. "Wonwoo, I-"
"Noona," he breathes out, "tell me tomorrow at the concert."
"I can tell you now-"
"I want to see your face. I miss you."
My heart tightened.
He's the only one that can get me to shut up with his own words.

Wonwoo paced up and down the street as he nervously waited for Haneul. "I've got this, I've got this," he repeats to himself. "It'll be okay, everything will go as planned, I got this."
In the distance, a girl with the BTS ticket in a hand sees the tall, lanky boy. She looks at him in awe while she makes her way over to him. She reaches up and taps him on the shoulder.
Wonwoo turns around abruptly, causing the girl to back up a little in, shock. When his eyes land on her, he mirrors her face. "Oh hey."
"Hey b-bball boy," Sofia holds up the ticket.
"Where's Han-"
"She couldn't make it tonight. Said she's working a late night shift and then an early morning one tomorrow," Sofia explained. "But omg I didn't you liked BTS! I do too! That's why she gave me the ticket!"
Wonwoo was hurt all of a sudden. Why didn't she just tell me that?
"Should we line up?" Sofia asks excitedly.
"S-sure," Wonwoo nods. He felt like he couldn't handle the pain in his heart in that moment. I guess this is her answer after all...
