It was hard watching Sofia and Wonwoo get along but I coped. Through time, my heart healed itself faster and faster with every stab it took from seeing them enjoy each other's company.

"Chwe Hansol! Jeon Wonwoo! Chwe Hansol! Jeon Wonwoo!" Sofia and I cheered for the two as they ran up and down the court.

The basketball game looked friendly, but the crowd was making such a fuss it felt a lot more intense.

During the last seconds, Hansol had the ball and was at the 3 point line. He aims and shoots. The buzzer goes off while the ball was still in mid air.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion.

My eyes widen as it follows the ball. Please go in! Please go in!

To Hansol's bitter luck, he misses.

The crowd cheers and laughs, but in the end, it really was just a friendly game.

"I can't believe it, ugh!" Hansol yells out as we exit the stadium.

"Next time, champ," I chuckle as I pat his back.

Sofia and Wonwoo walked behind us.

I couldn't help but overhear their conversation.

"You played really well!" She gushes.

"It's because you were watching," he says.

Still as cheesy as ever, Jeon Wonwoo.

We make our way to the bus stop.

Wonwoo and I live further than the two so we separated there.

"Take care of Hanie, won't you?" Sofia says to Wonwoo.

Wonwoo nods at her reassuringly.

The bus arrives after a minute.

Wonwoo and I hop on. He finds an empty seat near the back then pats the empty one beside him.

I sit beside him, feeling slightly uncomfortable.

"Did you like the game?" He asks.

I nod. "It was fun cheering."

He laughs, "you looked like you were enjoying it more than the game."

"Any times a fun time with Sofia," I say. She is my best friend after all.

He doesn't say anything for a while and just looks out the window.

I do the same.

This was our first alone time since our 'break up.' I had never felt more lonely and awkward in his presence.

"Let's make a pact," I say out of the blue.

He turns back to me. "Okay."

"Let's be good friends," I hold up a pinky. "No matter what happens, we'll stick together."

He smiles a sad smile but nods anyway. He brings his pinky up, "through thick and thin," he says.

We seal the promise with our thumbs.

Only then did I realise that I wasn't very good at love. With my past experience's I learned that love meant to compromise. But I couldn't do that. I am too selfish to be with anyone right now.

"Noona," Wonwoo gives me a closed smile. "I'll miss you."

I blinked at his words.

"When you leave to follow your dreams, I'll miss you."

I smile back. "I'll miss you too."
