Chapter 15 Lost and Found

 The sky was black and the world was silent and tranquil with nothing stirring except for a single person. The person almost invisible in the night was walking towards the town of Dark sabre. The person was carrying something through the silent and empty town with only the light from the inn illuminating the town. Sophia was sat downstairs on sofa in the inn waiting for Sakura to come home, around her were Nikistatia and Lucile unable to sleep "where is she?"  said Sophia worryingly

"don't worry she'll back any moment now" said Lucile. Suddenly the doors of the inn burst open and the person walked through

"Sakura, SAKURA your back" Sophia remarked "wait what's that on your back?" she recognised the object at once "TEMA! You've found him" .

 Sakura took Tema and laid him down on a bed upstairs. Nikistatia, Lucile and Sakura were all at around him while Fiona and Sophia watched from a distance. They could see he was still gravely hurt and still had the same vacant expression, Nikistatia managed to heal the wounds but Tema remained still, Sakura sat on the bed next to him "is there nothing we can do at all?"  said Sophia

"I don't know "  said Lucile sadly

"Tema if you can hear me listen"  Sakura sat a little closer and held his hand "Me and mother didn't always live on our own. Just like you, a young man came into our lives. I was only a little girl at the time and was very lonely and scared. He was...nice and caring and looked after everyone at the town. He lived with us for a long time and eventually I saw him as a father. We lived happily but over time something happened to him, he stopped..." She paused for a moment and looked very depressed "coming home. He no longer was the kind and caring Father that I knew. He attacked innocent people, only cared for himself and just left us. I waited hoping that he'd come back but he never did"  Nikistatia now understood

 "so that's why she so was so angry. When Tema came along he reminded her so much of him and her angry just wouldn't subside".

Tears were emerging from Sakura falling onto Tema's hand "I was so angry, everyone told me different but I wouldn't listen. I was convinced and you took the full brunt . You're not evil, a monster or anything of the sort" Lucile walked over to the bed also crying a bit

"Tema please come back. I remembered when you helped me fight of Clay and if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be alive". Nikistatia walked to the other side holding his other hand

"Do you remember when we first met? We were duelling together and I knocked you down and injured you but you didn't look down on me like everyone else. You offered me a hand of friendship and kindness...no one else has done that"

"Tema please come back" pleaded Sakura as the tears streamed down her face  "Everything was taken from you but...you still gave everything back. Even like you are now broken you didn't care about yourself  when that bomb was launched you risked your own life to save ours...look we need you, Sophia needs you, I need you. If you want a purpose I'll give you one being our friend" the words echoed within Tema's head "being our friend.our friend. Being our friend." 

He remained motionless in the bed, Sophia walked over to them all "come girls time for bed" the girls feeling defeated starting walking out. Lucile first, then Nikistatia leaving only Sakura at Tema's side

"Please come back" she gripped Tema's hand with both her hands and another tear fell upon his hand. She slowly got up to leave but Tema's hand seemed to grip onto Sakura's. She stopped for a moment and could feel his grip "Tema?" she looked at his face, tears were rolling down his face
