Chapter 33

In that moment when I saw him my heart broke into a million pieces.

"Sam..." I said with sad tone

He just looked at me as if he was filled with anger and sadness.

"Sam.." I said again walking towards him closer

"What!" He yelled

"What are you doing?" My voice cracking at the end

"What do you mean, what am I fucking doing!" He looked so upset

I swallowed hard. "Why are you doing this.." I said hurt.

He had a dumbfounded look "are seriously this stupid you don't know why Maya? Fuck! You know exactly why"

"Maybe if you would tell me!" I snapped.

"I love you Maya, but all you consider me is a fucking friend! Friends who makeout? If we were just friends how do I know how your lips taste like"

"Sam, I know! and I've told you a million times that I'm with Jack and I do like him"

He sighed "oh come on! You know you don't like him more than you like me, you know you wish I was the one with you"

"Actually no, I don't want a boyfriend that will only want me for a week for sex and than throw me away the day after, Jack isn't like that he cares about me and he shows me how much he really loves me"

"What are you trying to fucking say Maya!" He pushed me against the wall hard

"I'm trying to fucking say that you! are a fucking player that will throw me away and go to a new toy Sam!"

"What the fuck! I'm here crying over you and telling you my love for you, you find that what players do?!" Some tears fell of his cheek

"Sam.."

"No Maya! Seriously fuck you and my stupid feelings for you"

He was wiping his tears with his shirt and ran off, leaving me alone in the bathroom crying.

I'm so stupid why do I always have to mess up on everything, Sam was just telling me his love for me and I totally

let him down..

I love him too if not more, but I don't want to be just a toy I'm scared one day he'll leave me for another pretty girl.

*The next day*

I woke up with one of the biggest headaches of all time. I didn't really feel like going to school today. So, I decided to stay home.

I grabbed my phone and called my mom it's break right now for her

*rings*

*rings*

*rings*

& she finally picks up

"Yes honey, what do you need?" She asked

"Mom I don't really feel good today I have a bad headache and I really don't feel like going to school, can I please stay home for the day?" I begged

"Uhh, are you okay? Want me to go over there or need a doctor?"

"No mama, I'm fine I'm promise it's nothing big, but could I please"

"Yes, make sure to take an aspirin and order something to eat if you'll want and I'll call the school to excuse you when I get home okay baby?"

"Okay mama, thanks I love you so much"

"I love you more honey, I gotta go"

"Bye" I said and hung up after she said bye too.

I went up to my room and grabbed my new pajamas I had bought at forever 21 the other day with Lyss and went into the shower.

I got up and changed, put my hair into a side braid and went downstairs.

I placed my phone in the table and looked in the refrigerator for some food.

I went for a p&j sandwich and some coffee, I grabbed my food and turned on the tv and sat down at the table.

It was when I was almost done with my food when I got a message

Sam: where are you?

What? Did he just text me I thought he was mad at me?

Me: last time I checked you were mad at me

In a few seconds he replied fast

Sam: you didn't answer my question

I rolled my eyes, he couldn't see but I rolled my eyes at him.

Me: I'm at my house

Sam: why?

What's with all these questions? he seems like a parent right now and it's annoying me

Me: why all the questions? Are you my mom or something

Again, he replied fast.

Sam: you didn't answer my question again just answer me!

Me: how are you even texting rn? Aren't you in class

He took a little longer this time

Sam: I'm a good sneaker(; tell me why

Me: I was feeling sick okay mom

Sam: I'm going over

What?

Me: no, you're in school rn and you're mad at me

Sam: I don't give a fuck I'll rather be with you and shut up I'm going over

I guess I didn't have a choice, I cleaned up the mess and went up stairs.

I looked in the mirror..

I don't look that bad. Only a little bit of Chapstick and curl my lashes.

I got a text after what felt like 10 minutes

Sam: I'm outside

I went downstairs and opened the door

Sam was standing there with flowers in his hand and a big bear.
