Chapter 47

Friday.

I don't know if it was just me or not, but the week went by so slow. It's thankfully Friday today, only I can't wait for school to be over.

I grabbed American Eagle rolled up jeans, a white bohemian shirt, and brown sandals.

My hair was long and straight and for my makeup I only did a winged eyeliner, mascara that made my eyelashes long and curly, and my eyebrows.

I guess I looked presentable? Or maybe it's because it was Friday.

I decided to leave home early, my parents were home. I greeted them, since it's rare that I see my parents. They are too busy working.

I stopped by Starbucks and ordered a iced coffee. While I waited for my drink, I went through my phone.

Sam: Morning❤️

Me: Good morning sammy💕

I had another text from Isaac and Alyssa.

Isaac: It's been a while since I've seen you! I miss you I'm just glad it's Friday I hope you still coming to the reunion?

Me: of course I am im excited!

Alyssa: Hey come meet me at our lockers when you get to school

Me: alright

My iced coffee was done. I grabbed it and took a sip walking out to my car and driving to school.

I got to school and texted Alyssa.

Me: I'm on my way

I pressed send and walked to our lockers. I saw her standing there talking to one of our friends Georgia.

"Oh, hi Maya. I haven't seen you in a while..." She said.

I waved hi. "Hi Georgia"

"I'll see you in 3rd Lyss" she told a Alyssa grabbing her binder and walking out.

"See ya!" Lyss added.

"You need to tell me something?" I asked

"There's a bonfire today, you coming?" She smirked.

I shook my head, "already have plans"

She sighed. "What plans?"

"Isaac invited me to this reunion or whatever. I haven't seen him in a while, you know he's an old friend I miss him"

"Oh, I get it. Why won't you ask to come to bonfire instead?" She offered.

"I can't do that, Im sorry but I can't go this time" I told her, opening my locker and pulling out my black five star journal and history book.

"Ok, ok fine" she said. "Oh, and how are things with you and Sam?" She added.

She surprised me. "We're good again" I told her, only she had a look in her face.

"What's the matter?" I asked worried.

"Forget it" she faked smiled.

"No, wait what happened?" I asked again.

"I saw him make out with a girl yesterday" she spilled out.

My eyes widen. I couldn't believe what I had just heard. "Ar-are you sure it was him?"

"Yes, Maya. I saw him with my eyes, I'm sorry" she said, looking upset.

"It's whatever, I'll see you at lunch" I sighed and left to my first period.
